Montoya is finished.

Juan Pablo Montoya has driven his last race for McLaren. Montoya, who announced on Sunday that he would be switching to Nascar in 2007, has been replaced for Sunday's French Grand Prix by Pedro de la Rosa.

Pole Prediction
F.Alonso

Alonso and Fisichella were the fastest 2 race drivers in practice yesterday, with M.Schumacher just behind. The Toyota's rounded out the top 5, with both Honda's, Raikkonen, Massa and Heidfeld all close behind.

Thank you! It's the French musicvideo for 'What you're made of'. It's a duet with some French dude.

It's always the French, why don't WE get a special What You're Made Of-video?

A duet with a Dutch dude ... Marco Borsato for example?

Saturday's Practice session was.. interesting.

BMW-Sauber 1st and 2nd .. Williams 4th and 5th. McLaren improved to be 7th and 8th, but Ferrari were 14th and 15th, with Alonso down in 16th. The top 16 were seperated by less than a minute and a half, but for every race so far this season Saturday's practice does give us a fairly good indicator of race pace.

Once again just goes to show you that these practice sessions have little meaning for anything.

Nice 1-2 start for Ferrari. Eeeee!

French GP Qualifying Results
1. M.Schumacher.
2. F.Massa.
3. F.Alonso.
4. J.Trulli.
5. R.Schumacher.
6. K.Raikkonen.
7. G.Fisichella.
8. P.De La Rosa
9. D.Coulthard.
10. M.Webber.
11. N.Heidfeld.
12. C.Klien.
13. R.Barrichello.
14. S.Speed.
15. C.Albers.
16. V.Liuzzi.
17. J.Villeneuve.
18. J.Button.
19. N.Rosberg.
20. T.Monteiro.
21. F.Montagny.
22. T.Sato.

Little fact - this race has only been won by drivers starting from the front two rows.

Another 1-2 from Ferrari, but nowhere near as commanding as Indianapolis. Alonso could have been on pole if he hadn't made a small mistake or been held up by traffic in the first sector of his fastest lap. There is nothing to choose between Ferrari and Renault for the race tommorow. Renault fly off the grid, so I expect to see Alonso ahead of M.Schumacher into the first corners. The first half of the 3rd Quali session seemed to be a rehersal for the race, so again it looks like things will be tight!

I expect to see a battle between Toyota and McLaren for the rest of the points positions.
