Leeds United 3-0 Coventry City

A much better result for Leeds. This lifts them into 16th place, one position ahead of Leicester, who won 2-0 at Rotherham (24 - 3 points).

Wolves 3-3 Wigan Ath - Thrilling match! Wolves lead 1-0 after 15 minutes, but were pegged back and then went behind 2-1 before half-time. Kenny Miller made up for a penalty miss to put Wolves level 20 minutes into the second-half .. but they had to come back yet again after going 3-2 down to a Jason Roberts penalty with 15 minutes to go. Cameron got the equaliser, in the final minute! Wigan stay top (although Ipswich could go there with a win against Millwall tommorow) and Wolves are 20th..

Watford 1-1 Brighton - It's good to see Brighton getting another point.

Sheffield Utd 1-2 West Ham Utd - West Ham into 5th
QPR 3-2 Plymouth
Preston 3-0 Stoke City
Nottingham Forest 0-0 Cardiff City
Gillingham 0-4 Sunderland
Derby County 2-1 Reading
Burnley 3-0 Crewe Alex

I can see Ipswich winning and then going top and could stay there.

Ipswich 2-0 Millwall

Two late goals gave Ipswich all the points - Bent (83), Counago (90). I hope Ipswich can make it back into the Premiership this season.

I agree, it was a scrappy game, Darren Bent played really well. If they can hang on to him this season, they will do excellent but if he goes in January, they will miss him badly.

The away wins for Watford and QPR surprised me, especially Watford at Cardiff! Looking at Cardiff's position is surprising too - 23rd. Wasn't it 1 and a half years ago when their owner said they'd be playing European Football within a certain time period (which wasn't very long). That was far too arrogant..

Nice to see Wolves, Leicester and Leeds picking up on some form. Leeds - 9th, Leicester - 11th, Wolves - 19th.

Stoke City top the table with 17 points, Wigan, Ipswich and West Ham follow on 16, with Reading creeping up there on 15 points!

Tommorow
Coventry City .v. Gillingham

Its all early days, Burnley did well to hold Wigan, not an easy task.

Coventry City 2-2 Gillingham

Coventry lead 2-0, but let it slip.

Coventry 10th - Gillingham 17th .. although only 1 point seperates them! It's very very close in mid-table.
