Exactly, I knew he was in a lot of pain at the time and he carried on till he was substituted when the match was won, he is a really good player, he deserves to be in the premiership.

A great start for both Sheffield Wed and Hartlepool. I expected Tranmere to do better though.. but they still have the second-leg to mount a comeback.

I'm looking forward to the D1 play-offs tommorow and Sunday.

I would love to see Hartlepool make it, mainly just for Jeff Stelling from Sky Sports, that would make his year.

Todays Championship playoff game should be fantastic. Who will win, anyones guess, I hope West Ham dont make it, they dont deserve it.

D1 - Semi-Final, 1st leg
West Ham Utd 2-2 Ipswich Town

West Ham started brightly and took the lead after 15 minutes, but Ipswich came back strongly into the match, especially in the second-half. I think this is a fair scoreline, from quite an open and entertaining match! The tie overall is still finely balanced. Ipswich may have the home leg, but West Ham have already won at Portman Road this season. Ipswich may have the momentum though.

West Ham deserved to win. Ipswich were really poor. Thought Royle acted like a prat having a go at Pardew. West Ham made two bad keeping errors. Anton Ferdinand was brilliant (apart from that one error with the keeper), he is improving greatly

I reckon Lincoln could do well in these playoffs, Though I want Southend to make it! Cool. I hope Carlisle make it.

Conference Play-off Final
Stevenage 0-1 Carlisle United

They've done it! From 3-1 down in the Semi-Final play-off 10 days ago .. to winning the Final tonight! Carlisle are back in the Football League, and hopefully they can do well in D3 next season.

Hard luck for Stevenage though. They came so close and only lost out by a goal. I don't know much about how the teams played, but regardless, it must be hard for their fans right now. Maybe next season will see their first promotion to the Football League.
