| I don't think we'll be having another draw at Goodison Park this afternoon. Arsenal have been cruising without many problems. Bergkamp and Reyes put Arsenal into a 2-0 lead at half-time, with Ljungberg adding a 3rd 10 minutes into the second-half. Everton have a little glimmer of hope now with a goal from Lee Carsley reducing Arsenal's lead to only 2 goals. |

| Thats 4-1 neil not 3-1
Pires got the 1st goal of the season for him whit a bit of luck
henry shots from about 18 m the goalie doesnt hold it . it goes out to Cole who hits the upper post and out and there is pires that puts it in for 4-1 |

| Good game between Chelsea and United. I enjoyed that game, Forlan was the worst I have ever seen him. I think I would prefer him gone. Howard should have done better. |

| From ESPN:
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger challenged his team to remain unbeaten for a second successive season after seeing his players launch the defence of their Premiership title with a comprehensive 4-1 victory against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.
And Wenger, whose team have not tasted defeat in the Premiership since May 2003, admits that the challenge to extend that record is one that he is ready to accept.
Wenger said: "We have only played one game, so it is very early, but we will try to do again what we did last season. Last year, we wanted to play good football, go forward all the time and score goals.
"We won't change this season, but how far can we go? I don't know, so we will have to wait and see. But it was good to see us perform so well without the likes of Patrick Vieira, Sol Campbell and Edu. Robert Pires was only on the bench as well, but the young players are now ready to be given a chance.
"It was a very good performance, however, and it was a good way to start the season."
Spanish midfielder Francesc Fabregas became Arsenal's youngest-ever Premiership player at the age of 17-years and 103 days. Despite his youth, Fabregas produced a starring display and Wenger admits that his young stars are now ready for the first-team.
He said: "Francesc Fabregas is only 17, but age is not important. We had a 17-year-old and a 35-year-old in Dennis Bergkamp and they both showed that age does not matter. As long as you have intelligence and technique, then that is enough.
"Fabregas is mentally very hungry, but he still a young boy physically, so we will have to protect him. However, the more they try to intimidate him, the more he comes back. He is good enough to be a regular now.
"It is about finding the right balance, but I wanted to open the door for the young talent at the club, that's why I allowed the likes of Martin Keown, Ray Parlour and Kanu to leave." |

| The 17 year old player ( Fabregas) who took over the place for viera against everton, he sure played a good game, he made a few mistakes but I think he will be a really good player in up the years.
I do belive we will beat Midlesbrough as well or draw.
We lost alot of players but we still got alot of good players.
........
I wonder if the 17 year old will get to play again in the next game for arsenal, he does deserve to though. |

| This could be interesting:
Kitwe United has sent one of its promising youth academy strikers, Mwaba Mulenga on a three-week attachment at English Barclaycard Premiership side, Manchester United.
Mulenga, an under 14 player, will be the guest of the 15-time English football champions youth side from August 6 to 24.
Kitwe's club secretary Martha Shonga said her club was delighted to have a player attached to Manchester and that it was the beginning of more things to come.
"The club will try to send many youth players on such programmes to expose them before they even join our senior team," Shonga said.
She disclosed that Mulenga will be in residential camp with Manchester's under 15 team during his stay at the Premiership side. |

| Good game for Man Utd today, I thought Utd played some good football. Norwich were good also, that Bentley shot was unreal, Fantastic performance by Damien Francis. |
