Charlton payed 2.6 million for him. Another Arsenal played to leave the club this summer .. but they have been buying as well. I think I like this Arsenal a bit more.
I think Wiltord would be a good player to buy for Man United. As the article says, he's adaptable. I didn't expect this deal to come up, but now I hope it works out. |

| Wiltord to United? He was great couple of seasons ago so I'd be happy if he'd come to United, especially when striker situation in United is what it is.

| Newcastle have been ordered by the Premier League to play their fixture at Middlesbrough this Saturday evening despite an outbreak of conjunctivitis at the club. So far 5 Newcastle players have been affected and their argument for postponing the fixture is that the infection could be contagious to the Middlesbrough players .. but yet they played 3 friendly fixtures against Celtic, Lisbon and (someone else) without any problems. | He's staying.
Viera is staying at arsenal.
the reason he says is because he loves arsenal to much to leave them. ( something like that )
I dont know to mutch about it but it says here that viera has been thinking all summer about real and arsenal and he deside to go whit arsenal.
Owen is going to real Madrid though. |

| Sir Alex Ferguson today rejected reports that Louis Saha will be out until 2005.
The French striker has a knee medial ligament injury but Ferguson said he is still on course to return in three weeks.
Ferguson said: "Louis Saha has not had an operation, and has been training terrifically for the last week and doing everything apart from kicking a ball."
United have no further injury worries following Wednesday's 2-1 win over Dinamo Bucharest but Darren Fletcher's suspension means that nine senior players will be missing for the trip to Stamford Bridge on S7nday.
They are Saha, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Kleberson, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Wes Brown who are all injured, Fletcher and Rio Ferdinand who are suspended, plus Cristiano Ronaldo and Gabriel Heinze who are playing in the Olympics.
Liam Miller is likely to replace Fletcher on the right of midfield but apart from that United should be unchanged against Chelsea.
Team (from): Howard, G Neville, Keane, Silvestre, Fortune, Miller, Djemba-Djemba, O'Shea, Giggs, Scholes, Smith, P Neville, Forlan, Bellion, Eagles, Richardson, Spector, Bardsley, Carroll, Ricardo. |
