| Things may be looking dark at Everton, but they've had a slight boost with a 6-2 thrashing of Sheffield Wednesday in a pre-season friendly! It would be a shame if Everton were to fall from the Premiership this season, as it is their 51st year in the top division. This record is only second best to Arsenal's, which would reach 100 years if they remain in the Premiership until 2019! |

| Poor Kezman.. he's been handed a three match suspension for the red card he picked up in Chelsea's tour of America. The suspension is due to start on August 17th and he will miss the games against Birmingham City, Crystal Palace and Southampton. Unfortunately, he'll be available for Chelsea's opener against Man United. |

| A blow for Man United already.. Van Nistelrooy is set to miss 7 games due to a hernia injury. Out of those 7, 4 are Premiership matches against: Chelsea, Norwich, Blackburn and Everton .. the others are the Community Shield this Sunday and both legs of the CL Qualifying tie.
It's a shame as we have better results with Rudd in the side, but it does give new signing Smith a big opportunity to prove himself. |

| Reports suggest Fulham face the prospect of being banned from making any international transfers for the second time this year.
The Cottagers received a temporary ban from FIFA on signing foreign players back in January, when it was revealed there was an outstanding £3.2m debt owed to Lyon from the £11.5m transfer of French international Steve Marlet.
However, Fulham quickly made a payment to the French champions, but the latest claims from France could see further sanctions from football's governing body.
There are allegations now that the club have failed to pay Metz £1.3m in commission, after the sale of striker Louis Saha to Manchester United back at the start of 2004. |
