They can't seem to win in the Premier League. What's going on with Manchester United?

Van Nistelrooy is back, Rooney, Ronaldo ... is it the defense then? *shrug*

Defence? Its the whole team. I blame Ferguson and his endless tinkering, he is worse than Ranieri.

I hope not. I think it could be either a draw or a win for United. Hell I guess I am just trying to be optimistic!

Apart from The 0-0's between Birmingham & Manchester United, and Norwich & West Brom last; weekend's matches were quite a bit better than the previous week's!

Arsenal could have easily scored 10 against Charlton. It was only a lack of finishing that saved Charlton in the end, as Arsenal's attacking play created chance after chance after chance after chance.. It was a shame Charlton couldn't keep their lead, or build upon it, which they had chances to do!

Fulham were completly and utterly robbed.. Liverpool were absolutely crap in the first half and deserved to be more than 2-0 down. Then 2 goals with an element of luck pulled them level, before the confidence gained from that allowed them to score 2 more. Fulham should have won the game, but that's the way football goes at times!

Middlesbrough scored all four of their goals at Blackburn in the second-half and were no doubt assisted by the sending-off of Tugay earlier in the match. Bolton .v. Crystal Palace only had one goal, but both sides had many more chances, with the woodwork hit at least a few times.

The other matches only had 5 goals in them, but still provided some entertainment and shock - Manchester City beating Chelsea 1-0. Two things we learnt from last weekend are - 1) Chelsea are not invincible. 2) Tottenham are still weak in places - their 1st half performance against Portsmouth was quite poor..

Manchester United .v. Arsenal this weekend .. I can see a United win. We may not be picking up the points this season, but two positives are that we're not losing and we've only conceded 2 goals in 5 matches. The defense is sound atm, we just need to get a consistant midfield week after week. Against Arsenal, we need a strong midfield - one that can break up their rhythm and fustrate them, which will be the key to stopping them scoring .. and beating them!

I wonder why i'm not suprised over a manu fan seeing a manu victory
all i can say is that . its gona be a hell of a game as it most time is. and that people can let the things that hapend last year just let that go. its over nothing you can do about it.. so i hope we wont see any arsenal players acting as keown did. and that its a clean game most of times... so yeah good luck to both of them and may the best team (arsenal) win..

Mourinho 'sinks' that it wasn't a penalty to Manchester City, as usual.
I don't think Kezman has scored for Chelsea yet. I remember John saying that he wouldn't be that effective in the Premiership. Seems to be very true so far.

Manchester United 0-0 Arsenal .. last season's fixture - wasn't really a 'helluva game', was it!? I don't think it will be an amazing game. If Manchester United play to win, they won't let Arsenal get into their flowing style, so Arsenal won't be playing pretty football. If Manchester United were able to match Arsenal in their attacking style, then we'd see a cracking game. Then again, if United find what they've been mssing in terms of attack, then there's no reason why we might not see a 3-3 or 4-3 match!
