Drogba maybe - I'm not sure if he's a penalty taker or not. Mourinho didn't look too pleased afterwards about the decision, especially give his comments that if it had been Henry or Van Nistelrooy brought down, the penalty would have been given. Even David O'Leary (Villa manager in case you didn't know ) said it was a clear penalty! Again, not the referee's day. Quote: Originally posted by Monrapias Everton indeed have been a bit of a suprise.. Exept when they played Arsenal | Every team loses against Arsenal currently, even when they put in a good performances. It's going to take a quality side (Manchester United) probably not playing at Highbury (Old Trafford next month!) with a full strength side (Ferdinand back, Brown back, Rooney back, Van Nistelrooy match-fit, ect..) to beat them and stop this run! Quote: Originally posted by Monrapias I'm glad to see Poro win, gave me points .. (why am I telling you how to stay on top!? ) - I do mean Portsmouth of course!
When Manchester United are match fit!
Howard
G.Neville - Ferdinand - Heinze - O'Shea
Ronaldo - Keane - Scholes - Giggs
Rooney - Van Nistelrooy Quote: Originally posted by Monrapias yes.. Manchester has been playing really bad, its sad for them. But as I said. I am sure they'll get back on the top table when theyre players return. | It's actually quite refreshing in a way to see United down in 10th. Now no one can bash the true supporters as 'Glory hunters' when we stick by the team through bad times. | Well the manager should take a look at the fulham game then and that would proov him wrong .
Ah yes I know he is aston's manager indeed. I still dont get why they fired him from leeds *shrugs* Quote:

But yes the team to beat arsenal will be manchester when the players are back.. chelsea can beat us in the cl maybe but not in the league.. the title will forever be a fight with manu and arsenal Quote:

i'm just glad utd snuck in with a draw, the tide will turn, and these draws will make a big difference at the end, especially psychologically. |

Not much we can do about that now:
Looking forward to the todays game

Ah yes I know he is aston's manager indeed. I still dont get why they fired him from leeds *shrugs* | The Chelsea match was played at 12:45, so Mourinho's comments were made before Arsenal even kicked off their match. I'm sure he's eating his words a little bit with those comments - but he does have a certain arrogant attitude, which will always come back to bite him in the ass at times!
Sacking managers is 'the thing to do'. Look at Southampton and Newcastle - they lost their managers with only a few matches of the season played. It's completely stupid. Managers just don't get enough time to prove they can make a team successful these days. People seem to expect it to happen very quickly, when in reality it will require time and patience.
Kevin Keegan has his job on the line now because Manchester City only have 5 points out of 5 games. If we were talking about the 26th 27th 28th 29th and 30th matches of the season, and Manchester City only gained 5 points throught that period, then there would be no talk of his job being under threat. That's the stupidness of sacking managers at the start of the season. The first 5 or so games don't mean enough in terms of the whole 38 match-long season to justify any manager being sacked. Quote: Originally posted by Monrapias Yes they're doing a good job so far, but you could see the game today that they played a poor game for alot of parts of the game.. it wasnt until 2nd half they really got the game moving ( with reyes on ) ( who is the top goalie with 1 goal more then henry ). incase you didnt know
But yes the team to beat arsenal will be manchester when the players are back.. chelsea can beat us in the cl maybe but not in the league.. the title will forever be a fight with manu and arsenal | That's nice for Reyes (and Arsenal for having two strikers who can score so frequently) .. not nice for the other teams though.
It's funny. Everyone is hailing Arsenal as the best side in England atm, but yet in 4 matches last season they scored twice and lost twice against Manchester United .. not so great eh? Everyone seems to forget that before Rio Ferdinand was suspended, Manchester United were top of the Premiership (it was 5 points in January!) and had the best defensive record in the country. Arsenal are by no means the best team. Sure they've had a good run (which was given a BIG help by referee's), but once it comes to an end I think we'll see a return to the Arsenal of a few years ago. (for a while at least)
Considering all that, I honestly believe the title will come down to a battle between Chelsea and Arsenal. Man United are losing too many points atm and won't have a full strength, confident, bonded side for at least a few more months. No trick. Quote: Originally posted by Monrapias Nice team there.. gona be hard to break down a side like that.. ah yes its a pitty that manu fanst alot of them are glory hunters and alot of them aint at all. like you and others, the real fans are the ones who are fans when they strugle, that is the true love of football. | I like the look of our possible full strength side. Finally we'll have a defense with plenty of good players to choose from - Brown, Ferdinand, O'Shea, G.Neville, Silvestre, Heinze with also the option of being able to play Keane there and the youngster Spector. Our current midfield and strike force looks deadly, they just need to be so in the games. We need to play down the wings more often like we were a few years ago, using the pace of Ronaldo and Giggs. |

| I hope not, for their sake. It would be dumb to sack Keegan at this point. For all the board and chairman know, Man City could go on to win their next 5 or 6 games and climb into the top 5. Sure, if City are really struggling in 15-20 matches time, then maybe something should be done about it - but then I guess that's what the January transfer window is for. |

| I think Kevin should go, it would be for the best, he continues to struggle and has achieved nothing there. |
