Saturday 12th August
Cardiff City 1-0 Coventry City
Colchester Utd 1-2 Barnsley
Leicester City 3-1 Ipswich Town
Norwich City 3-2 Luton Town
QPR 2-0 Southend Utd
Sheffield Wed 1-1 Burnley
Southampton 0-0 West Brom
Sunderland 2-3 Plymouth Arg

Burnley, Plymouth, Cardiff and Birmingham top the table after 3 matchdays, with 7 points each. Luton were 2-0 up against Norwich, but let it slip away in the second-half, losing their 100% record in the progress. Southampton and West Brom remain unbeaten after a 0-0 draw, with both on 5 points, and both looking strong for the season.

Sunderland, Colchester and Ipswich will be wishing they'd had a better start.

Division 2: 100% records for Nottingham Forest and Port Vale - both yet to concede! Rotherham record their first win, but they are still rock bottom on -7 points!

Division 3: First win for Accrington!! 2-1 against Barnet. Darlington were thrashed 4-1 by Boston!

You were right about the Sunderland match though.

It's remarkable to see a team that relegated last season do so bad in the first matches in the Championship. Maybe even relegate to D2?

I know for sure something like that doesn't happen here in Holland, which is a pity, 'cause it does make Football more exciting. It gets bored when Real Madrid would always win the CL. It's fun to see Porto, Liverpool & Barcelona win it as well.

My decision on who I think will have a big chance of promoting will depend on tomorrow's match. I'm putting my money on the team that wins tomorrow.

Ipswich have had it tough but I think they will come good. Early days. Sunderland looked like getting to grips with it but were unlucky.

Birmingham was surprising. Still 0-0 in todays match.

Friday 18th August
Coventry City .v. Leicester City

Saturday 19th August
Barnsley .v. Southampton
Birmingham City .v. Crystal Palace
Burnley .v. Wolves
Derby County .v. Norwich City
Ipswich Town .v. Hull City
Leeds United .v. Cardiff City
Luton Town .v. Stoke City
Plymouth Arg .v. Sheffield Wed
Preston .v. QPR
Southend United .v. Sunderland
West Brom .v. Colchester Utd

The BIG match this week is obviously Birmingham - Palace .. already a top of the table clash! I'd predict a 1-1 draw.

Coventry, Leeds and West Brom to win ... Sunderland to draw.

I think Birmingham are going to win that one. Palace arent in great form right now. I think Ipswich, Leeds, Preston to win. I can see a draw for West Brom.. Sunderland to lose

Burnley 0-1 Wolves

Birmingham and Cardiff now lead the way in Division 1, and there is nothing to seperate them.

Colchester and Sunderland are yet to score a point... Sunderland for the Conference in 2009-2010!
