Since the other threads were getting a bit bitchy.

Anyway the Aussies are now through to the final which is great to see from my point of view.

The batting was a bit disappointing, but after a bad start, did well to make 212 on a tough pitch. Sri Lanka was 7-123 after 38.1 overs when it started raining and play was abandadoned, and Australia was awarded the win.

Now for the Indians to beat Kenya and we're in for a great final.

Hopefully I won't fall asleep through the next match.

yes , they performed an escape act again, but for me had they made 160 - odd i think that would have been enough , as they have been AWESOME in the field.

But you never know, an upset may be on the cards - Possible, but not Probable.

Go South Africa.

I say this through gritted teeth: Well done Australia, can't believe I said that.

Anyway yes Australia Vs India Final looks like a good one, defiantly be watching that one on Sunday.

Still reckon it would have been a better Super Six with England and South Africa in there rather than Zimbabwe and Kenya.

Yeah in the end 160 probably would have been enough - as well as their fielding their bowling has been great I think.

Hopefully the batting can rise in the final. It's time Hayden got a decent score I think.

Yeah it was disappointing South Africa and England weren't there, but you've got to win the matches to get through! Rain/forfeits make it hard but if you look at the Aussies they had a goal to win every game they played in the tournament just to make sure they got through every stage.

In the end of the day, you have to perform to your best.. England, SA are out so lets focus on who is left.

yep, and my support goes to AUS.

not because they are all conquering, etc, cause they were the first team, besides SA, that i took real interest in - 1993/1994.

i've had many fave aus players, starting, with Border, and Warne, etc....
