Alan Shearer joined the strikers' hall of fame on Saturday, scoring twice against Blackburn to notch the third goalsoring ton of his remarkable League career.
Having retired from international football after Euro 2000, England's former captain has shown no loss of appetite for goals playing for Newcastle United.
The 32-year-old hit 200 goals in April this year, and will now have his sights firmly set on scoring the 17 needed to record a phenomenal 250 top-flight goals.
It would have been a bigger celebration for him if Newcastle didn't lose 5-2. He deserves to score so many goals as he is a great striker. I believe he will continue on with his career for many years to come.
