German channels ARD and ZDF are broadcasting all matches. Eurosport, Dutch, Belgian, English, German channels, I have it all. Jealous?

Germany and Argentina booked their spots in the semi-finals of the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup on Saturday with wins over Tunisia and Australia.

Germany scored three late goals to defeat African champions Tunisia 3-0 at the Rhein-Energie Stadion in Cologne.

Argentina clinched their spot in the final four by defeating Australia 4-2 on the back of a Luciano Figueroa hat trick.

After playing 1 hour, I'd really thought Tunesia were going to take at least a point. Their team isn't as bad as I thought, with Trabelsi as star of the team. Tonight I'll be watching Greece - Mexico and Tuesday Argentina - Germany.

Group A has been completed!

Argentina 2-2 Germany
Australia 0-2 Tunisia

Germany and Argentina fought over 1st place (which Germany secured on GD) while Tunisia and Australia fought over the wooden spoon.

Tonight - Brazil need a point against Japan to qualify in second place. Mexico will most likely beat Greece and top the group.

And in that case, I doubt Argentina will be sad about their 2nd place in Group A since Germany will be facing Brazil then.
