Default Bundesliga 2004-2005

And here it is ... new, alive and kicking!

The Official Thread for the German Competition 2004-2005.

Liga Pokal:

Bayern Munich 3-0 Leverkusen
Werder Bremen 2-0 Stuttgart

The Final will be between Bayern and Werder Bremen.

The German competition is the one with the coach transfers. Bayern, Dortmund, Stuttgart

Werder Bremen:

The team that was led by Otto Rehhagel, we all know him now. No Ailton anymore, but they do have Klose and Daniel Jensen, who had a good EC.

Bayern Munich:

Last year was aweful ... well, it wasn't good. Hitzfeld got fired and Felix Magath can take over.
How will it go with Kahn? Lizarazu is gone, but goalgetter Roy Makaay is still in Munich.
Lots of eyes in Germany will be focused on Bayern.

Stuttgart:
They had an amazing season last year, but can they continue with a new coach? Hopefully for them they're also able to qualify for the CL.

Bayer Leverkusen:
Third in the competition, CL qualification. Basturk left the team.

And we have Bert van Marwijk in Dortmund coaching Borussia.

Matches, results, ranking ... everything about the German competition can be posted here!

1 week to go.

They at least have to compete for the title. And not winning the German title for the second year in a row ...

... not good at all.

I'm curious to see how Magath is going to do it.

As for the Bundesliga matches ... yep. Expect the Premier League and the Dutch competition (and the Spanish and Italian ofcourse ), everything starts Friday or Saturday.

Arminia Bielefeld - Borussia M'Gladbach

Never heard of the first team there. They must be one of the newly promoted sides.

Cool

First game of the Bundesliga Season!

Werder Bremen 1-0 Schalke

A nice result for the champions (it seems to be a theme that the champions start on Friday )
