Shall Standard be able to create some commotion this afternoon? They're playing at Brugge.

Standard needs all the points they can get, as they are still trying to get hold of an european football spot ... they had a terrible start, but since November/December they've been playng much better ...

Heck, in 2003 they haven't even conceided one goal so far in competition ...

Might turn out to be a great afternoon of football

It turned out to be what I predicted, a great afternoon of football ... Brugge won it 4-2 ... Standard lasted about 25 minutes, then every viewer witnessed an amazing feature ...

25th minute: 0-0

32nd minute: 3-1

Yes 4 goals in 7 minutes. We scored our fourth goal short after the break, in the final minutes Standard made it 4-2 ... we keep dominating (although the result of today didn't matter to know that )

A currently European record we're holding (for this year only - all European football competitions kept in mind):

We've scored 70 goals in 21 matches so far, that's an average of 3.33 goals/match ... no other European team does better this year.

Scoring goals used to be a problem, look at our numbers now ... that's why we're pretty invincible and this dominant in Belgium.

We (Brugge) easily beated Gent ... 1-4 ... we're 27 on 27 now in our latest 9 matches ... cruise control towards the title!!!
