I would have thought a bit rusty, especially after that break.
What did the uefa website give/say to make it look that impressive ... just the score?

Yeah well ... winter break for all

Timmy Simons, our defensive midfielder (and captain) was awarded 'The Golden Shoe 2002' last Wednesday ... that's the biggest award a Belgian football player can receive. Means he was voted the best player of 2002 by other players, managers, chairmen and sports journalists ... this includes all the performances in 2002 (second part of season 2001-2002 and first part of season 2002-2003 that is then), Belgian competition, European competition and in 2002's case, also the World Cup. Which helped him as well, as he was one of the best Belgians of the tournament.

Remember the match against Brazil? Ronaldo had a very tough opponent there ... I wonder who that was

Yes ..... only the score casue the site didn't have a report up yet ...... so I posted here to find out what happened.

Congrats to Simons. I remember seeing him playing in the World Cup, especially in the Brazil match and he did impress me.

Well now ya know ... not their best performance of the season, but 3 points anyway ... La Louvière didn't show anything that got even near to deserving a point.

Simons is simply one of the top 50 Belgian players ever if you ask me. And he's still young.

I see him one or two more seasons with Brugge (after this season) ... then they'll have no chance but selling him ... yeah we can't rival with foreign clubs when it comes to money, wages and bonusses!

But they better make sure that when selling Smmons, it will be for a FAT FAT FAT ammount of money!

But no matter how much money, they gotta do their utmost to keep him with the club as long as damn possible

7-2!!

If anyone does manage to catch them Brugge will definitely have the higher goal difference.

Best result, most goals scored, less against and no miracles ... so that means we're still #1

We actually played a very good match against Beveren, they were focused for 90 minutes, not that easy if you know we were up 0-4 at half time. We kept playing well and Beveren knew they already had a punishment upon themselves at half time, so they simply started to play offensive minded, which resulted in great spectacle on both sides and 5 goals in the second half.

Great game all together.

No matches this weekend, it has been snowing for 3 days and it still is ...

The grass is covered with snow, when they clear it away, they can start all over again after 10 minutes ... no conditions to play.

Then it's worse in Belgium. It also snows here, but as far as I know only 1 match has been cancelled.
