Hey guys! Here's the latest on Dave's surgery from WWE.com -

Batista's Surgery A Success
January 12th, 2006

WWE.com has learned that Batista's surgery to repair his torn right triceps was a success.

The surgery, which was performed by Dr. Jeffrey Dugas, lasted approximately one-and-a-half hours. Batista is said to be recovering well and will remain hospitalized for the next several days.

That's great to hear. I wonder how long it'll be before he can start his rehab and then get back in the ring.

Well, from what Ive read its gonna be a few months so were lookin like probably after Wrestlemania is when he'll be back which I think sucks. BUT its better then nothing I guess.

Im just so glad everything is OK. Like when I posted something kinda similar to this in the Smackdown thread LOL!

Good news.


Last time (also a torn triceps), he was out for nearly a half year, I think. My bet is Summerslam.
Tthis time he tore an already surgerly repaired muscle.


I'm hoping for the best and that he doesn't rush his return with the possibility of re-injuring himself.


The only good news to this all is, that now he'll have time to nurse his back injury as well! So he'll be able to make a comeback being a 100% again!

On wwe.com right now there is a video with his doctor and some of the surgery, its kinda graphic so Im warning you ahead of time.

If any of you cant see the video for some reason, his doctor basicly said that if he didnt have the surgery, he'd probably couldnt wrestle anymore. So Im very glad he had it.
