If she goes on like this, Henin is definitely going up on the women rankinglist.

Lleyton Hewitt is out of the tournament. El Aynaoui (what a name!) beated him in 4 sets. Agassi gets it quite easy to win the Australian Open this way.

Henin and Clijsters will both go up in the ranking, at least one spot ... with Capriati out this early and both Justine and Kim being qualified for the Quarter Finals.

Quarter finals are the next matches in the women singles.
Belgium against USA

Agassi is favorite for the men. Do you think Nalbandian is able again to go to a Grand Slam final ?? He did it already last year at Wimbledon.

I hope Henin will get through ... she just had a cruel match of more than 200 minutes! Back and forth tennis ... I hope she'll be recuperated.

The match starts at 7:30PM Ozzie time, which is 9:30AM your time.

I am liking the look of the men's draw a lot now.

Hantuchova and Venus are currently playing, but Venus is winning 6-4, 5-3 and is 30-0 up, so I imagine she'll be winning.

What the heck is it with Russian tennis chicks? Do they only let you play there if you're hot? yum!

Quite predictable. Henin has to play Venus now. And I assume Clijsters has to play Serena.....unless there comes a surprise.

Hopefully we're gonna see awesome semi's.

Ferrero is out. Gravel is more his undergroud, so we'll see him back in France. My favorite for the men is now absolutely Andre Agassi.

Interesting news:

Steffi Graff and Andre Agassi have a bet going on. If Agassi wins the Australian Open, Graff promised to come back in the tenniscircuit......playing in the doubles. Agassi and Graff in the mixed double on Roland Garros.
