What's further going to happen with Evolution? Randy Orton goes for the IC gold, that's confirmed. But HHH wants the World Gold from Goldberg and he's got his shot this Monday. But with it being a Roulette evening, no one knows what kind of match it will be ...
With Batista and Flair still around, no one knows where this is leading to. Goldberg seemed to be outnumbered 4-1, but now Kane also joined the feature. What will his role be? Last Monday he chokeslammed an already battered and beaten Goldberg to end the episode.

Are we going to see a Triple Threat Match for the title at Armageddon? HHH vs Goldberg vs Kane?? Will HHH already take the gold this Monday? Or will HHH lose his title match this Monday? Will Kane demand a title shot from Bischoff?

Then we also got the Dudleyz, HBK, RVD and Booker, who are all marked men by Bischoff as they competed as Austin's team at Survivor Series.

And what's up with Matt Hardy turning heel on Lita and joining RAW? Will this be the beginning of a push?

And what's going on between Jericho/Trish and Christian/Lita?

Anyways, for some reason I felt a little bad for Flair that he didn't get the title shot. But yeah, he's a jobber now. He's doing a good job at it though.

So.. Orton vs. RVD. I must say I've been a little disappointed in RVD's performances lately. I dunno what it is, but he seems to be really slow these days.. and not creating very selling impact manouvres. He doesn't seem as focussed for some reason...

I wanna see more of Batista too. I hope they'll give him a match at the PPV as well.

Some say it has to do with the current contract negociations that aren't going that well.

RVD's contract is ending next year and he wished the WWE had already renewed it by now, but in his opinion, the WWE doesn't seem to be willing to rush anything. And instead to renew his contract right away, they gave him the IC gold in an attempt to please him for now.

Dangerous situation the WWE's playing here if you ask me.

Yeah, I've heard something about the WWE not being too pleased with his performances either, which is why they're hestitant in renewing his contract.

But that's stupid because in the end, the WWE should know that RVD is RVD. You shouldn't underestimate the guy. And if I was the WWE, I would realize RIGHT NOW that being the WWE, you don't want to lose RVD to TNA. Because it is just written on every wall in every arena that Jarrett would damn well contract RVD as soon as he got a chance to do so. So the WWE better wake up before it's too late for them, heh.

The thing is this:

Normally WWE renews a superstar's contract about a full year before it runs out.

In this case, the WWE didn't.
So at the time when RVD's contract has going to expire within one year's time, the WWE didn't make any moves to renew it. I guess RVD was disappointed and his performances might not have been as they were before. RVD expressed his displeased feeling and as a reaction to that, instead of starting negociations to renew the contract, WWE put him in an IC story line, giving him the gold. It's like WWE want to do everything to please RVD as long as they don't have to renew the contract before it actually expires.


Like you said (bringing up the TNA-Jarrett point), the WWE's playing with fire.
