Armageddon 2003 Results:

Howard Finkel asked the audience to rise because here to honor the United States of America is Lilian Garcia by singing the National Anthem! At the conclusion of the song, the fans heavily chanted "USA, USA" as you could hear Jim Ross say "You're damn right!" For those who missed it in today's World News, Saddam Hussein has been captured and he is deemed to no longer be a threat to ANYONE. Thank GOD! The promo for Armageddon was then shown, highlighting the brutal feud between Kane, Triple H and Goldberg and tonight, it will be a Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Title with Goldberg defending the title against both Triple H and Kane in a Triple Threat Rules Match!

The fireworks went off in the arena as "The End is Here" sounded in the arena with Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler kicking it off on commentary.

Mark Henry vs. Booker T

Mark Henry's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring accompanied by Theodore Long and this is a one on one match with the World's Strongest Man Mark Henry against Booker T!

Booker T went right at it with Mark Henry, hitting him with some right hands and chops and Mark Henry shoved Booker back but Booker got right back on Mark with the clubbing blows until Mark Henry knocked Booker T down to the mat with a clothesline and then he followed it up with a hard body slam.

Booker T got out of the ring and Mark Henry went after him and Booker gave Mark a back kick to the gut and then Mark grabbed Booker and slammed him into the steel steps.

Booker T went to the top rope and he came off with a missile drop kick on Mark Henry to send him down to the mat. Booker then went for the scissors kick but Theodore Long got on the ring apron and Booker hopped over and knocked him down to the arena floor.

Mark Henry put Booker T in a modified version of the bow and arrow in an attempt to make him tap out but Booker refused to do so. Mark later put Booker in a reverse chin lock to wear him down and the referee was there to see if Booker wanted to give it up. Of course, Booker didn't give it up as he fought out of the chin lock with some shots to the mid section of Mark Henry.

Mark Henry gave Booker T a vicious clothesline to send him spinning in the air and then he went for a leg drop on Booker but Booker was able to get out of the way.

Booker T kicked Mark Henry in the gut and then he went off the ropes and knocked him down with the scissors kick and then pinned him but only got a two count as Mark Henry was somehow able to kick out.

Mark Henry went for a power bomb but Booker fell out of his hands and landed on his back as if he were just power bombed and then Mark pinned him for a two count.

Booker T then fired back on Mark Henry and nailed him with a second scissors kick and then he pinned him for the three count to pick up the win!

Eric Bischoff was shown backstage and he didn't seem too happy because that's not how he wanted to start off Armageddon, but he knows he can count on Jericho and Christian. Jericho said that he wanted to talk to Bischoff about this and Christian interjected, thanking him for making this match. They had the Tag Team Titles win and he was about to win the bet but the really big picture is that Lita embarrassed him in front of all of his peeps. Bischoff said that the only reason she's still here is so they can embarrass her in any way they see fit, so have a good time! Chris said that he wanted to talk about something but Mick Foley's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring and Bischoff set his attention on that, ignoring Y2J.

Mick Foley got in the ring as the Co General Manager of RAW and he was wearing a suit and tie, showing the corporate version of Mick Foley. The fans heavily chanted "Foley, Foley!" and Foley thanked the fans and said now usually, he watches the WWE pay per views at his buddy's house in New York but he's not in New York, tonight he's right here in Orlando, Florida where he will bring to you his first pay per view as Co General Manager of RAW and he has every reason to believe it's going to be a tremendous show and the reason he walked out here today is to bring everyone some really good news. You see, the petition to bring back Stone Cold Steve Austin now has one million signatures! And Mick thinks that shows everybody, including the board of directors of the WWE just how badly they want Stone Cold back on RAW. And he thinks everyone will agree with him that the news is cause for a celebration and he wonders if there happens to be anybody backstage who might be able to join him in a small celebration.

Stacy Keibler's "She's Got Legs" music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring, dressed in a cheerleader's outfit.

She got in the ring and hopped around, doing some cartwheels and cheering as Mick Foley watched on. "That is a cheeky cartwheel." - Jim Ross. Stacy encouraged Mick to do a cartwheel and he did just that and then he lifted Stacy up in his arms.

Evolution's music then hit in the arena and Randy Orton and Ric Flair then made their way out to the ring. Randy Orton took the mic and told Mick that's one hell of a cartwheel he's got there. He hopes he didn't pull anything because he's going to need that hand later on tonight when he counts the one, two, three in his victory over RVD later tonight.

But what he's really out here to talk about is the fact that the party is over. You see, Stone Cold is gone and he is gone for good because Randy Orton won that match at Survivor Series! Mick's stupid petition is done, it's over and it is time for Randy Orton to collect what he came here to collect and that is the Intercontinental Championship.

Intercontinental Championship Match - Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam

Mick said it certainly appears as if Randy wants to do. Mick took off his jacket and shirt to reveal his referee's shirt and he said if Randy wants it so bad, he doesn't see any damn reason why they can't have that match right here and right now!

Mick told RVD that if he's back there, they're waiting on him because it's Showtime! Rob Van Dam's music then hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring as the Intercontinental Champion for a title defense against Randy Orton!

Randy Orton exchanged words with Rob Van Dam and when RVD did his pose, Randy went to kick RVD but RVD caught his foot and swept him down to the mat. Orton quickly got up and RVD went after him and Orton slid out of the ring to avoid RVD.

Rob Van Dam hit Randy Orton with a cross body into a pin but he only got a two count.

Rob Van Dam went to the top rope but Randy Orton shoved him down to the outside of the ring, sending him sailing into the security wall face first. Randy Orton then got out of the ring and gave Rob Van Dam a standing drop kick and then he rolled him back into the ring.

Ric Flair got on the ring apron during the match and Mick Foley yelled at him to get down and Foley backed Flair down by getting out of the ring and into his face.

Rob Van Dam hit Randy Orton with the split legged moonsault and then he pinned him for a two count. Randy Orton then kicked Rob Van Dam in the gut and then he lifted him up in an over the head back breaker into a neck breaker and a pin for a two count.

Randy Orton went to kick RVD but RVD caught his foot and spun him around and then knocked him down to the mat with a drop kick.

On the outside of the ring, Rob Van Dam gave Randy Orton a forward suplex onto the security wall and then he went to the ring apron and gave him a spinning leg drop to knock him off the security wall.

Rob Van Dam knocked Randy Orton down to the mat with a heel kick and then he went to the top rope for the frog splash and Ric Flair got a set of brass knuckles and he hopped to the ring apron and charged at RVD but Mick Foley knocked Flair down off the apron with a clothesline. Randy Orton then knocked Rob Van Dam down from the top rope with a high drop kick. Randy Orton then planted Rob Van Dam with the RKO and then a pin for the three count to pick up the win and win the Intercontinental Championship!

Randy Orton celebrated his very first title win in the WWE with Ric Flair and Flair strapped the title around the waist of Randy Orton and the two left the ring together.

Battle of the Sexes - Trish Stratus and Lita vs. Chris Jericho and Christian

Chris Jericho's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring for this "Battle of the Sexes" tag team match with Christian against Trish Stratus and Lita. Coming out to the ring, Chris Jericho didn't seem to be too into this match but Christian was arrogantly anticipating it.

Chris Jericho started it off in the ring against Trish Stratus and Chris tried to explain himself to Trish and Trish didn't seem to be buying into it and Chris touched Trish's face and Trish went to slap Chris but Chris blocked it and then she used her other hand to slap him across the head.

Chris Jericho put Trish on his knee and slapped her ass and then he yelled at her to calm down because this isn't what they want. Trish then kicked Chris Jericho in the chest to knock him back and then she gave him a head scissors a few moments later.

Christian and Lita were tagged into the match and Christian grabbed Lita by the arms and pulled her around and then Lita got out of it by giving Christian a headbutt. Lita then got out of the ring and ran and Christian went right after her and she got him to follow her back into the ring and as he got in the ring, she hammered away on him.

Chris Jericho got tagged into the match against Lita and he stood on her hair and pulled her arms up to send her writhing in pain. Chris Jericho went for a power bomb on Lita but Lita countered it with a hurricanrana into a pin for a two count.

Christian ripped Lita's shirt off and waved it in front of her and when he turned around, Lita gave Christian a low blow.

Chris Jericho later went to the top rope and Lita pulled Jericho's feet out from under him to knock him down and Trish went for her head scissors off the ropes but Chris blocked it and sent Trish down to the mat.

Christian then got in the ring and pinned Trish Stratus for a two count, pulling her head off the mat.

Christian went off the ropes and Trish ducked under it and Christian ran into Chris Jericho to knock him down from the ring apron and then Trish rolled up Christian for a two count. Christian then knocked Trish down with a clothesline and then Lita came off the top rope with the Lita-canrana. Chris Jericho grabbed Lita and pulled her to the outside of the ring and slammed her into the security wall.

Chris Jericho then got in the ring and helped Trish Stratus up off the mat and then Christian rolled her up from behind and pinned her for the three count to get the win.

Christian was excited for their victory but Chris Jericho just stood there and looked at Trish and he didn't seem too happy about the match result. As Jericho and Christian left the ring, Christian had a look of arrogance on his face and Chris Jericho just could not take his eyes off of Trish Stratus.

Batista vs. Shawn Michaels

The music of Shawn Michaels played throughout the arena and he made his way out to the ring for a singles contest against Evolution's own Batista!

Shawn Michaels and Batista locked it up in the center of the ring and Batista backed Shawn into the corner and went for a right hand but Shawn dodged it and then gave Batista a number of right hands in the corner as the fans heavily chanted "HBK, HBK!"

Batista whipped Shawn Michaels hard into the corner and then he exposed his own elbow and jammed it into the neck of the Heartbreak Kid.

Batista perched Shawn Michaels on the top rope and went for a super back suplex but Shawn fought out of it and then he hit Batista with a moonsault and then pinned him for a two count.

On the outside of the ring, Batista whipped Shawn Michaels hard into the steel steps back first in an attempt to reinjure the back of HBK.

Batista grabbed Shawn Michaels by the throat and went for the sit out power bomb but Shawn Michaels somehow countered it into a DDT.

Shawn Michaels went to the top rope and came off with a flying elbow drop and then he went to the corner and primed up for the sweet chin music but Batista caught Shawn Michaels in a vicious spinebuster. Batista then grabbed Shawn and lifted him off the mat and gave him another devastating spinebuster and then he signaled for the finish.

Batista went for the power bomb on Shawn Michaels but Shawn Michaels got out of it and knocked Batista down to the mat with a super kick and then he pinned him for the three count to pick up the win!

After suffering defeat at the hands of Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair helped Batista up in the ring and Batista thought that he had won the match but was left an angered man after Ric Flair told him that he had lost.

Matt Hardy vs. Maven

Maven's music hit in the arena and he made his way out and Batista was still in the ring with Ric Flair and Earl Hebner and Jack Doan were in the ring trying to talk Batista into leaving the ring but he remained in the ring with the Nature Boy. With Batista in the ring, Maven was reluctant to get in the ring for his one on one match with Matt Hardy.

Maven and Matt Hardy hammered away on each other on the ramp as the two referees remained in the ring, attempting to get Batista out of the ring. Matt Hardy launched Maven into the security wall and then Matt rolled Maven into the ring where Batista laid him out with a vicious clothesline. Batista then gave Maven a power bomb and then he lifted him up and gave him another one as Matt Hardy remained in the aisle way, looking on at the carnage in the ring. WWE officials and the trainer got in the ring and attended to Maven as he was down and out and noticeably bleeding from the mouth. Matt Hardy got in the erring and referee Jack Doan told him to back it off and then Jack Doan went to the ring announcer and told her that because of the condition Maven is in, he will not be able to wrestle tonight. Therefore, the match between Matt Hardy and Maven will not take place. Matt Hardy gave Maven a big splash and then he counted a pinfall in favor of himself to give himself the victory over Maven. Matt Hardy then got out of the ring and grabbed a mic and announced himself as the winner of this match!

Batista was shown backstage with Ric Flair and Batista was going nuts, saying that he is better than Shawn Michaels. Flair agreed, saying that Batista has it. He's a man's man and he's seen them all come and go and Batista has that special thing in him that's going to make him the man. Everybody stumbles and we all trip but the good ones get back up and the good ones get back in the game. You walk out in that arena with your head held high and he left someone lying. Forget about Shawn Michaels, they'll get him another day. Right now, Flair has something special for him. They're walking out of here with title belts around their waist.

Tag Team Championship Turmoil Match - La Resistance vs. the Hurricane and Rosey vs. Scott Steiner and Test
vs. Lance Storm and Val Venis vs. Jindrak and Cade vs. The Dudley Boyz

Lilian Garcia announced that the next contest is the Tag Team Turmoil Match for the Tag Team Titles. Two teams will start it off in the ring and once a team is eliminated, another team will come out and the last team standing will be the World Tag Team Champions. La Resistance made their way out to the ring as the first team in this match and they're up against the Hurricane and Rosey to start off this Tag Team Turmoil Match!

Rosey started it off in the ring against Rob Conway and Rosey twisted the arm of Rob Conway and then knocked him down to the mat and made the tag to the Hurricane, who got in the ring and went right at it with Rob Conway.

Rosey lifted Rene Dupree up in a side walk slam and instead of slamming him down to the mat, he dumped him to the outside of the ring. Rosey then made the tag to the Hurricane after knocking Rob Conway down and Rosey got on the second rope and the Hurricane climbed up onto his back and gave Rob Conway a big splash off of Rosey's shoulders to pin him for the three count.

Jindrak and Cade stormed to the ring from the crowd and Cade knocked Rosey out of the ring as Jindrak rolled the Hurricane up for the three count to get the win.

Lance Storm and Val Venis then made their way out to the ring with two lovely ladies. Val Venis then got in the ring with Mark Jindrak and put him in a side headlock and Jindrak whipped Venis off the ropes but Venis came back with a shoulder block to knock Jindrak down to the mat.

Val Venis went for a suplex but Jindrak reversed it and Cade grabbed the feet of Mark Jindrak to help hold Val Venis down on the mat for a three count to eliminate the team of Venis and Storm.

The Dudleys then made their way out to the ring and started brawling with the cheating Cade and Jindrak right away. The fans immediately started chanting "We want tables."

Mark Jindrak rolled D-Von up and hooked the tights a bit but D-Von was able to kick out. D-Von then rolled Jindrak up to return the favor but Garrison Cade was able to break it up. The Dudley Boyz planted Mark Jindrak with the 3D and then Bubba Ray pinned him for the three count to get the win. Garrison Cade then attacked D-Von from behind and then he laid Bubba out with a vicious clothesline.

Scott Steiner and Test then hustled to the ring to work on the weakened Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley as Scott Steiner paired it off with D-Von and Test went at it with Bubba in the ring. Steiner and Test then double teamed Bubba until Bubba fought back on both of them, knocking Test down with a clothesline. Scott Steiner gave Bubba Ray his version of the northern lights suplex and then the referee sent Test to the ring apron. With the referee distracted by Steiner, Test grabbed Bubba Ray on the outside of the ring and rammed his arm and shoulder into the ring post several times.

Test went for the pump handle slam but D-Von got out of it and then Test gave D-Von the full nelson slam and a pin with his feet on the middle rope but he only got a two count. A frustrated Test then got out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair and the Championship belt and he slid the belt into the ring and the referee picked it up and as he did that, Test got in the ring with the steel chair and hit D-Von in the back with it. Test then pinned D-Von but Bubba pulled Test out of the ring to break the pinfall.

Bubba Ray Dudley gave Test the Bubba Bomb and then D-Von Dudley rolled over and pinned him for the three count to retain the Tag Team Titles! As the music of the Dudley Boyz played in the ring, Eric Bischoff's music hit and he made his way out to the ring as the Co General Manager of RAW. Bischoff grabbed the mic and said that in order to win Tag Team Turmoil, you have to go through all the teams and there is one team who has yet to compete. Ladies and Gentlemen, Batista and the Nature Boy Ric Flair!

Batista and Flair made their way out to the ring and went right at it with the Dudley Boyz. Batista gave D-Von Dudley the sit out power bomb as Ric Flair had Bubba Ray Dudley in the figure four leg lock and Batista pinned D-Von for the three count to walk out as the new Tag Team Champions!

Ivory and Molly locked it up and Ivory took Molly down with a snap mare and then she pinned her for a one count. Ivory then continued working on Molly, attempting to roll her up in pinfalls but Molly was able to kick out each time.

Ivory slammed Molly into the top turnbuckle face first and then she rolled her up for a two count and Molly countered it into a pin of her own, hooking the tights to pick up the win and retain the Championship! (Not much of a match.)

The Royal Rumble will take place on January 25th from the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and that will be a RAW and Smackdown! joint pay per view!

World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match - Kane vs. Triple H vs. Goldberg

The following Triple Threat Match is scheduled for one fall and it is for the World Heavyweight Championship! Kane's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring as the one of the two challengers for the World Championship against Triple H, who is the other challenger and they will face Goldberg, the defending Champion in this Triple Threat Rules Match!

All three men stood apart in the ring and you could see them exchanging words and the fans heavily chanted "Goldberg, Goldberg!" and that angered the Game, who spat on Goldberg from a distance. Goldberg approached Triple H and then Kane stepped in and exchanged words with the Champion.

Goldberg walked towards Kane and said something to him and Triple H took his opportunity to nail Goldberg from behind. Kane then backed Goldberg into the corner and gave him a number of right hands and then Triple H and Kane double teamed Goldberg.

Kane went to the top rope but Goldberg walked over and grabbed him and pulled him down. Goldberg then caught Triple H by the throat and gave him a military press into a power slam to take him down to the mat.

Goldberg then pushed Triple H out of the ring and then he went for the spear on Kane but Kane gave him a big boot to the head to knock him down to the mat. Triple H then mounted Kane and gave him a number of right hands and he and Kane continued to double team the World Heavyweight Champion.

Triple H and Kane gave Goldberg a double team suplex and then Kane gave Goldberg a power slam and Triple H quickly went into a cover on Goldberg but Kane grabbed him by the hair to break up the pin. Kane and Triple H then argued and Goldberg got up and gave Triple H a right hand but Kane knocked Goldberg down to the mat with a clubbing blow. Kane then knocked Triple H out of the ring and Goldberg gave Kane a number of right hands and then Kane hung Goldberg up on the ropes with a hot shot and then he signaled for the choke slam. Kane grabbed Goldberg by the throat and Triple H got in the ring with a steel chair and went to hit Goldberg but he instead hit Kane. Goldberg then kicked the chair into the face of Triple H and then he gave him a power slam and it was noted that you can only win this match by pinfall or submission and that the match will not end in a disqualification.

Goldberg grabbed the steel chair and put it on the ankle of Triple H and he's been wanting to do this since the $100,000 bounty. Goldberg started to climb the ropes but Kane gave him a big time upper cut to knock him to the outside of the ring.

Kane went to choke slam Goldberg on the announcer's table on the outside of the ring but Goldberg got out of it.

He went to jackhammer Kane on the table but Triple H hit Goldberg in the ribs with the steel chair and then Kane gave Goldberg a choke slam on the table but the table didn't break as Goldberg slid off it. Triple H and Kane then set Goldberg up on the announcer's table and Triple H got up on the security wall and jumped off, driving his elbow through Goldberg to destroy the table.

Triple H grabbed the steel chair and whipped it into the steel ring post and then he held it up and Kane stared him down, asking him what he's going to do with the steel chair? Triple H dropped the chair and begged off and when Kane went to pick up Goldberg, Triple H grabbed Kane and shoved him into the steel steps. Triple H then went for the Pedigree on Kane on the outside of the ring but Kane got out of it with a back body drop. Kane and Triple H then got back in the ring and went at it with Goldberg down and out on the outside of the ring.

Kane went to the top rope and came off with a jumping clothesline on Triple H and then he went for a choke slam but Triple H gave Kane a thumb to the eye and then a DDT.

Triple H went to cover Kane but Kane sat right up. Triple H then gave Kane a neck breaker and Kane once again sat up.

Kane and Triple H battled to the ramp way and Kane went for a tombstone on the ramp but Triple H got out of it and then Kane gave Triple H a choke slam on the ramp. The referee then explained to Kane that he can't pin Triple H on the ramp and Kane grabbed Triple H by the foot and dragged him down the steel ramp and then he lifted him up and put him on the ring apron and pushed him into the ring. Kane then got in the ring and Goldberg got up and in the ring and speared Kane down to the mat! Goldberg then slowly rolled over and pinned Kane for a two count as Triple H broke it up.

Kane and Triple H gave Goldberg some right hands to send him dizzy and Goldberg went off the ropes and knocked both Triple H and Kane down with a thunderous double clothesline. Goldberg then gave Kane a spear down to the mat and then he set up for a spear on Triple H and gave it to him. Randy Orton and Ric Flair then came out to the ring and Goldberg took care of them and then he speared Triple H once again and pinned him for a two count as Kane broke it up with a blow to the back of Goldberg's head.

Goldberg grabbed Kane by the throat and started choking him out and Kane grabbed Goldberg by the throat and did the same thing. Kane and Goldberg choked the life out of each other and Triple H got up and gave Goldberg a low blow. Kane then gave Goldberg a choke slam and then Batista came out to the ring and pulled Kane out of the ring and then Triple H pinned Goldberg for the three count to win the World Heavyweight Title!

Ric Flair, Batista and Randy Orton picked Triple H up and brought him to the back to celebrate his win as Kane looked like he was about to explode in the ring and Goldberg was still down on the mat rolling around. Evolution stood tall and they now dominate every single RAW title, excluding the Women's Championship!
