What programs do I need to make videocaptures?

Does anybody know? I really want to make captures of a video that I have but I don't know what programs do I need!

It wasn't me!

I use "Power DVD" and you can also open the video in "Jasc Animation Shop" that comes with Paint Shop Pro as well!
