Everyone needs to let go. Just let go. Kim doesn't have to be a mod to be the helpful and creative person she has always been. Her presence is still wanted and welcomed, and will not be overlived. Just because she doesn't have that position makes her no less of help to this forum. Just please people, MOVE ON. Arguing doesn't help anyone's case, just proves how people want to create problems all of the time.

No, this isn't moderator survivor and normally only the super moderator has the power to remove and change their active moderator. Whenever people feel a moderator is incorrectly doing their job though or being immature about their job, and the super moderator hasn't acted in a pretty large amount of time, then we step in. Instead of just throwing her out, this process gives her a chance to stay if many others agree she's doign a good job. We are not harsh, but sometimes being in the position we're in is a curse, because if we make one wrong move we catch hell from it. We do what we can to keep this board from turning into a wasteland that no one enjoys.

Members cannot vote anyone out. An admin must recognize the person they wish to be removed, and then the voting occurs.

If you believe it's pathetic, that's your opinion. If you were in our shoes though having to make decisions like this whenever they came up, you'd think differently.

Yes, cursing/swearing (which I don't even believe should be the words for it) works just fine here.

I remember back in the 80s when I was like 5 and 6 years old, when we said "Stupid" we cursed. That was over and done with, and stupid is a common word. So the 90s pass and we have about 15 other curse words come into play. Since it's the 2000s now, I believe those 15 curse words should be common elaboration words, and I don't hold people accountable for it. There are a few words I'd warn you for, but those are mainly the "newer" ones until they go mainstream next decade.

That is true though, everyday kids curse in school but the teachers don't do anything. I understand. It's the parents' responsibility to raise their chidlren, not the school, not the government. It basically comes down to respect and a good sense of judgement.

okay. i'm not sucking up to kim in anyway. i personally think some of the moderators..SHOULDNT be moderators and kim did a much better job. i think this forum was WELL moderated and plus...she interacted with us.
