How about a chain blend?
Like one person starts by making the background.
Then the second person adds an image
The 3rd adds another image
The 4th adds another image
The 5th puts an effect over them all
etc etc etc
The last person can add some text?
It would take a long time to do, and gives everyone a chance to participate in the final outcome!

ooh i've got an idea!!!

Create-A-Theme (for lack of a better title)

okay here's how it'd work....say i volunteer to have a theme made for me...anyone can contribute...submitting lasts a week long...i take two days at most to decide....i keep it up oh say a week minimum.....i credit the winner.....and if they want they can continue or pass it to someone who wants one! so is it a good idea or not?
