Whoa, dude. Alright, maybe you didn't know. But you didn't have to be so rude about it. If you had gone about this in a more mature and less offensive manner, I'd have cut your restriction in half. But you didn't, instead you threw a fit and got disrespectful. The six weeks stands.

First off, I'm not a dude, I'm a girl. 2nd of all, I wasn't being rude about it. I was just expressing my opinion...I'm not saying "OMG OMG OMG THIS IS BS!! WTF UR ALL STUPID! I'm not saying you were acting like that, but you certainly weren't acting like you were calm. I don't like it when people fly off the handle. There was a much calmer route to go, and you didn't take that route.

But you did give me a warning before..I had a PNG file there b4 (mistake again). And this time I still wasn't quite clear on saving it. I thought if I changed the filename it was okay, but guess not..

Alright, see, that was SO much calmer. Unfortunately, changing the file name doesn't change the file TYPE, only the extension. I can change a document file to a zip file and it's still a document file. I can't unzip it.

Ashlynn, that's why I can't remember it, it's unusual. And I tend to avoid three page arguments these days.

h!vOLtag3 - I have an idea. Take a random blend you made, and load it into your PSP or Photoshop or which ever you regularly use. Then proceed to save it in the following formats: BMP, GIF, JPG, and PNG. You can do that by doing "Save As..." and then at the bottom of the window that pops up, you can pick the file format. You can then check the size of each file and post the numbers for each here. It should be fun. When you're done, you'll know exactly how this stuff works.
