Oh don't worry -- I totally understand this. You don't have to explain to me...I feel your pain -- poor girl. It's awesome, don't get me wrong, I love yours and I think it was really cute and creative for you to stick it in your signature. Two thumbs up from me.
But God people -- it's not like the "flashy thingy" is this strange and complicated thing -- if you know how to use your PSP and animation shop you can just think a little bit and figure it out. No need to get all up in arms about it -- it's a fucking graphic. I'll make one if I freaking want to -- and I'll make a blend if I want to even though someone probably did that first, I'll make an animation even though someone probably did that first -- I'll make dotted lines all over my blend if I so choose...even though someone probably did it first. Shit like that is all over the internet -- it's not like this plagiaristic thing because someone here at BSN made some. Expand your horizons people, and chill the fuck out. *gets off the soapbox*
