... what software do i need? i've noticed many of you have little cute gif animations made from videos, how did you make them? thanks

You need to dowload either Paint Shop Pro 7, or Paint Shop Pro 8. PSP7 is easliy found on Kazaa, with a cracked version, PSP8 is a little bit harder to find!

then when you install it use animation shop, open the video, select the frames you want to open (you ca open any, i'd stick between 1 and 2 thousand at a time though!)

Then when they open you can take the frame you want to start with, copy it, and paste it as a new animation. Then you can take the next frame, drag it to the new animation, near the end of the first frame, and drop it and it will stay there. Ya keep doing that untill you are done!

Hope that helps. (you can also use this for MPEGs, and WMV files!)
