you need to either set the paintbrush to "color" and maybe change the opacity of the brush your colouring with like so

like the way I do on Adobe but it can take quite sometime.

Selecting each section using the lasso and magic wand tool and then going into "image" at the top of the page clicking onto adjust and then "hue/saturation" check in that window the "color" box and then just slide the hue and saturation boxes to your desired colour like so ...

You can then (while hair or whatever is STILL selected) go into colour balance (image>>adjust>>color balance) and then make the area you just coloured look more or less realistic than desired

P.S pictures might take a little while to load sorry hope it helps ya though

I added a little posterize on it which screwed up her face. Then I put motion blur so the face on the right cheek looks funny. I tried to make the color on hte face look less bright and mixed:

they are good i like the effect its like a blow of wind over her face
