| Dennis -- it's just a gif file thing in general - not just animation shop. Sucks, doesn't it? Photoshop comes with Image Ready -- which has a lot of effects, and some which I find better than those of animation shop -- but maybe I'm only thinking that because everyone already knows what animation shops effects are. Anyway -- image ready is hard to learn if you're used to animation shop -- but it's a good program.
AJ -- I'll get them for you soon -- my brother is actually the one that hacks the net for me every damn day, so I have to catch him before I can get that for you, but I will, and then I'll just IM you or something. |

For the avatars I make though those transparent ones I used just the paintshop pro and the animation shop. | I agree with you -- I like Adobe better for basically everything -- especially text. There's lots of shit you can do with text and styles and actions -- god do I love actions. But PSP has some nice effects that just don't look the same when you do them in Adobe, so what I ended up doing was just creating an action of my own, or brushes of my own, using PSP features and effects, and then making them Adobe-friendly. Then I don't have to sit there with both programs open and keep saving and opening in the other. |

| Well this thread's going off topic but... do you know where i can find some tutorials on Image Ready & Photoshop?
I hate using them but maybe if I follow one of those and get some basic ideas down i can mess around with it on my own.
Thanks! |

| AJ -- copy the first image in your sequence, and paste a duplicate of it after your last image in the sequence. Then put another fade effect there, and you won't be able to tell where it stops and starts again. Also -- I'd use a quicker fade with less frames. Like 2 or 3.
Dennis -- I can teach you if you can ever catch me -- otherwise I dont know where tutorials are b/c I never used them. Kat taught me Photoshop in a thread about a year ago -- I dont know if it still exists or not, but from there I taught myself.
3xm guy -- I don't have that brush because I hate it. Sorry. I hate most brushes. You should ask Grababooty though -- she uses it in like every single blend she makes... |
