Nobody enjoys endless scrolling to get to the next post, and beyond this, a signature isn't really a place you need to show off all your blends or graphics. A website is probably better off for that, and you can easily post a one line link to that website in your signature.
There is no limit to the number of pictures used. You just can't have too many large ones, because once you hit that 700 pixel of height border, you can go down no longer.
A signature really should only contain a little graphically about you, and people have been abusing this lately stacking sometimes up to 6 huge images on top of each other.
Good luck finding the loopholes, because I've ensured none can be found.
