The USA beat Canada yesterday 4-3 to take the gold medal in the World Junior Championships. This is the USAs first gold medal in the championships and just their second medal ever. Minnesotan Zach Parise was named MVP of the tourney and the Minnesota Wild's 2003 2nd round pick Patrick O' Sullivan scored 2 goals in the game including being credited with the game winning goal. The game winning goal was was a weird one. The Team Canada goalie shot the puck off his own Dman and it went into the net. Herbie would have be proud of the boys
