Los Guerreros made their way out to the ring and this is a one on one match with Eddie Guerrero defending the United States Title against Matt Hardy, who was accompanied to the ring by Shannon Moore.
Eddie Guerrero hit Matt Hardy with some forearms and then he backed him into the corner and kicked and stomped away on Hardy in an attempt to get some revenge on Matt Hardy for what he did last week.
Eddie Guerrero went to the top rope for the frog splash but Matt Hardy got up and nailed Eddie with a hard right hand. Matt then climbed up the ropes and pulled Eddie down with a super plex.
Eddie Guerrero got Matt Hardy on the top rope and gave him a textbook hurricanrana to take him down to the mat and then Eddie pinned Matt but only got a two count.
Matt went for the side effect but Eddie countered it with an arm drag into a pin for a two count.
Shannon Moore picked up the Championship and he went to hit Eddie but Eddie knocked it out of his hands and then he grabbed the title and tossed it to Matt Hardy. When the referee turned around, he noticed that Matt had the title in his hand as Eddie acted like he was hit with it.
While the referee was saying something to someone on the outside of the ring, Chavo Guerrero hit Matt Hardy with another title belt and then Eddie came off the top rope with the frog splash and then a pin for a three count to retain the United States Title!
Josh Matthews caught up with John Cena and he brought up tonight's tag team match. Josh said that last week, Cena dropped some dope rhymes and Cena said that Josh is exactly like Kurt Angle. Kurt has done plenty for the USA but Cena does things the American way, for himself. He's tired of being in Kurt Angle's shadow and tonight, Kurt is going to be in his shadow.
Los Guerreros were shown walking through the backstage area and they came across The Big Show. Eddie asked The Big Show if it was something personal last week or is he just in a bad mood? The Big Show said that he doesn't like Eddie Guerrero and he doesn't like his kind. Don't get him wrong, he likes burritos and all that kind of stuff, but he doesn't like Eddie Guerrero and there's nothing either of them can do about it. Eddie and Chavo took exception to that but Big Show shoved them down like they were nothing. The segment ended with Big Show saying "Told ya, esse, there's nothing you can do."
Chavo lit a fire under Eddie's ass, saying that Big Show just punked him and he did nothing about it. Where's the Latino Heat that he knew before? Eddie shoved Chavo against the wall and jammed his arm into his throat, saying that he'll show him Latino Heat. After Eddie left, Chavo smiled and laughed as he brought out the devil in Eddie Guerrero. The APA vs. The Basham Brothers
The APA's music hit in the arena and they made their way out to the ring for a tag team contest against The Basham Brothers.
The APA went right at it with Doug and Danny Basham with clubbing right hands. Faarooq officially started it off in the ring against Danny Basham and as Danny was down on the mat, Faarooq gave him a charging shoulder block to the back.

Shaniqua got in the ring and celebrated with the Basham Brothers until Bradshaw got in the ring and knocked the Bashams down and out. Bradshaw then laid out Shaniqua with the Clothesline from Hell to leave her laying!
A-Train made his way out to the ring and he joined Michael Cole and Tazz for a bit of commentary. Tazz asked him if he's all right after last week and A-Train responded by saying that he got what he wanted, he got Benoit. Chris Benoit vs. Charlie Haas
Chris Benoit's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring for a one on one match against Charlie Haas.
Chris Benoit and Charlie Haas locked it up in the center of the ring and both men backed each other into the corner and the referee called for a break and he got just that as A-Train talked about his match at No Mercy against Chris Benoit.
Charlie Haas put Chris Benoit in a version of the abdominal stretch and that wore Chris Benoit down a bit, possibly setting him up for the Haas of Pain. Chris Benoit eventually battled out of it and went for a back slide but Haas countered it with some knees to the mid section.
Chris Benoit shoved Haas into the corner and then he pulled him out with a German suplex and then he went for another but Haas got out of it and took Benoit down to the mat and went for the Haas of Pain but Benoit was able to get to the ropes.

Chris Benoit put the Crossface on Haas but A-Train got in the ring and gave Benoit an elbow to the back of the head to end the match in a disqualification.
After the match, A-Train put Chris Benoit in the Crippler Crossface and Benoit was tapping out but A-Train refused to release the hold until a number of WWE officials broke it up.
Vince McMahon's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring with Sable, arm in arm and after last week's announcement of the "I Quit Match" against his daughter, you have to wonder what he has to say tonight on Smackdown!.
Vince said that tonight, he's going to offer someone a second chance. Come on, we all know you need second chances because of all the mistakes that people make day in and day out like his daughter Stephanie McMahon when as the General Manager of Smackdown!, she insisted that Brock Lesnar defend the WWE Title against the Undertaker at No Mercy. Vince suggested she ascends that match because if she didn't, there would be another match and that would be the first ever father/daughter I Quit Match. So therefore, he's given his daughter a whole week to think about her decision, hoping that cooler heads would prevail. And he's hoping that she comes out here in just a few moments, resends that match and hoping that she does the right thing for herself and respectfully resigns as the General Manager of Smackdown!. Vince said maybe he said that too politely; he's going to ask her to come out here and quit.
The fans know a lot about quitting because each and every one of them quit everyday. They're all quitters! So don't begrudge Stephanie when she quits. So with that in mind, we anxiously await Stephanie's decision. Stephanie McMahon's music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring as the General Manager of Smackdown!.
Stephanie took the mic, saying that she appreciates the time that he gave her to think about her decision but her answer quite simply is no. She will not change the WWE Championship match at No Mercy and she will not quit, not now, not ever. Vince said yes she will. She'll quit. If not tonight, she'll quit at No Mercy when everyone within an ear shot of the arena will hear from her lips: "I quit, I quit." But now, there's an extra stipulation. Not only when she yells I quit at No Mercy, she'll be quitting her job as General Manager of Smackdown!. Vince said that he still thinks she doesn't realize what she's doing. He really doesn't. So he doesn't think she realizes what she's doing by making him beat his own daughter. Stephanie said that she's not making him do anything, they can take back this match. Vince said she did because she's defying him and he won't have anybody defy him. Vince said that he doesn't get it. He remembers when he held her as an infant, tenderly as a child. He remembers her growing up and he remembers her first bicycle ride, her dances, graduations and everything and now she's throwing it all away because now she wants him to take Daddy's Little Girl, crush it in his hand, throw it on the mat and leave it a bloody pulp! That's what she's making him do and he doesn't know if he's capable of it, but why would she do this to him? Why would she do this to him? Does she have any idea how this is going to effect him? Then by God, he says this; at No Mercy, he will strike down the face of defiance! Sable told Vince not to be so hard on himself; when he steps into the ring with Stephanie McMahon at No Mercy, don't think of her as his daughter, think of her for what she is. What did he call her last week? She remembers; it was a disrespectful little bitch! Stephanie got in Sable's face, telling her that this is a conversation between she and her father so why doesn't she go do what she does best, go back into the men's locker room and lay flat on her back! Sable slapped Stephanie and Stephanie speared Sable down to the mat and started beating the crap out of her until Vince pulled her off. Vince grabbed Stephanie by the hair and yelled at her. Vince then gave Stephanie McMahon a body slam in the center of the ring and then hovered over her. Vince once again grabbed her by the hair and pulled her up off the mat and the Undertaker hit the ring and stood over Vince McMahon.
After Stephanie crawled away, the Undertaker laid Vince McMahon out with a right hand and then he picked him up and went for the choke slam but Brock Lesnar stormed to the ring only to get knocked out of the ring with a big boot. Brock Lesnar, Sable and Vince McMahon quickly fled from the ring to avoid the wrath of the Undertaker.
The Big Show was shown in his locker room lacing his boots and a Mexican showed up, asking for Eddie Guerrero because he has a delivery for him. A lot of burritos. The Big Show took them from the guy and opened them and ate them. The Big Show seemed to like them and Big Show told the guy, named Jose to make sure Eddie Guerrero gets this burrito... The Big Show then licked and spat on the burrito and he told the guy to tell Eddie Guerrero that The Big Show put a little special sauce on this burrito. Cruiserweight Championship Match - Billy Kidman vs. Tajiri
Tajiri's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring as the Cruiserweight Champion for a title defense against Billy Kidman.
Billy and Tajiri locked it up in the center of the ring and Billy shoved Tajiri back and then he went behind him and pulled him down to the mat with a schoolboy pin for a two count.
Kidman knocked Tajiri to the outside of the ring and then he jumped on Tajiri with a high cross body to knock him down on the outside.
Tajiri went for the handspring elbow but Kidman ducked it and then nailed Tajiri with the Enziguri and then he pinned Tajiri but only got a two count.
Tajiri went for a tornado DDT but Kidman countered it with a BK bomb into a pin for a two count.

Tajiri nailed Billy Kidman with a low blow that went undetected by the referee and then Tajiri nailed Kidman with the kick of death to pick up the win. Orlando Jordan vs. The Big Show
The Big Show made his way out to the ring, scheduled for a one on one match against Orlando Jordan. As The Big Show made his way out to the ring, he seemed to be holding his stomach, showing some effects of a stomach ache.
Orlando went at The Big Show but The Big Show kicked him in the gut and then he held onto his stomach. Orlando once again went at Big Show but Big Show knocked him down with an elbow as Show continued to hold onto his stomach.
Big Show knocked Orlando down with a short arm clothesline and then he held onto his stomach and rolled out of the ring and walked away as if he had to take a crap.
As The Big Show walked to the backstage area, the referee counted him out of the ring, giving the match to Orlando Jordan.
Michael Cole spoke with Zach Gowen, live from Michigan and he asked him how he's feeling and when can we expect him back? Zach said that it seems as if he's probably feeling better than The Big Show right now. As far as him physically, he may not be 100% but it's been a long time since he was 100%. He's rehabbing to get in the ring and he's trying to get his head straight. He appreciates everyone's concern but he's tired of talking about this and he's tired of the sympathy. The "Hey Zach, are you OK? Are you sure this wrestling thing is right for him?" Zach said that he's never been more sure than anything in his life. This is for him and next week, he's going to prove that because he's back in the ring.
A shot of a bathroom was shown and you could see The Big Show's legs poking out of a stall and he was sitting there taking a dump. Eddie Guerrero showed up and he said that it smells like something crawled up inside of him and died. Eddie said that he guesses that's what happens when Big Show punks him out twice. Does he really think he can punk him out twice and get away with it? Eddie said that he did this and it was his cousin Jose who he met and it was Eddie's special sauce and he made some real good special sauce, the type that makes his stomach do what it's doing right now. Eddie picked up the toilet paper and asked Big Show what he's going to do to wipe his ass? Big Show complained of no toilet paper and Eddie said that he forgot, he took the toilet paper out about an hour ago. Eddie then kicked the door off the stall and Big Show stood up, calling Eddie a son of a bitch and then he continued to crap even more with the door in front of him. Eddie told Big Show that he's got nothing on him and then he left. John Cena and Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle and the Undertaker
John Cena's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring for a tag team match with the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar against Kurt Angle and the Undertaker! Before the match, Cena took the mic and said that it's time for him to step up and break through. Every time the people see him, it should be a fricken pay per view! He's the reason you watch this show; everybody else is just a fill in. He's the dude that makes it OK to root for the villain. Cena continued on, putting himself over.
Kurt Angle and John Cena started it off in the ring and Angle backed Cena into the corner and put his hand in his face and then the referee called for a break and Kurt backed off with a smirk on his face.
The Undertaker grabbed John Cena by the arm and then he walked the top rope and came off with a clubbing blow to the neck and back of John Cena to send him down to the mat.
Kurt Angle gave Brock Lesnar a German suplex to send him down to the mat and that left both men down on the mat and the referee started the count. Angle got up and Brock grabbed his foot and Angle made the tag to the Undertaker but the referee didn't see it, so he forced Angle to remain in the ring.
Angle put Cena in the ankle lock but Brock Lesnar broke it up by shoving Angle to the mat.
The Undertaker knocked Brock Lesnar to the outside of the ring with a clothesline and Lesnar pretty much landed on his head. In the ring, the Undertaker planted John Cena with a choke slam and then he pinned him but only got a two count as Lesnar was somehow able to get in the ring and break up the pin.
John Cena nailed Kurt Angle in the head with his steel chain and that went undetected by the referee and he followed it up with a pin on Kurt Angle to pick up the win for his team!
Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker continued to brawl on the outside of the ring and Brock whipped Taker into the steel steps, knee firsts to knock him down. Brock then cleared off the announcer's table and then he went for the F5 on the Undertaker but the Undertaker got out of it and gave Brock Lesnar a choke slam through the table and Lesnar was left laying as the show went off the air! |
