Yeah we have free will to decide if we want to do good or evil but we have authority over evil I should say through Jesus like if we say to him to leave in Jesus' name he has to. That's what you do when you bless a house or they perform an excersism they cast things out in Jesus' name. They have to believe in Jesus for it to work.

If u understand the whole Bible completely those contradictions are answered. I am still learning but..they asked Jesus about the contradictions also and he said "If your sheep were to fall into a pit on the sabbath day would you not go in and get him out" << that isnt a quote cuz I couldnt find it rignt now but that is what he said, may have been a lamb that he said but no difference. It means that situations are different and you are to decide what is the right thing to do when certain things come up.

Jonah disobeyed a direct order from God and he forgave him because he did it out of love for his people if it was a selfish reason he probably wouldn't have it is always different for each situation. It tells you enough of them in the Bible so that you can decide what to do when you are faced with whatever comes.

I use the King James Version ...I'm sure it does say that in the one your using but it's just not the same one that I am using so mine doesn't say all that.
