A kindergarten teacher is having show and tell with something important from home, and she tells Johnny to come up and show what he has. He draws a dot on the chalkboard. the teacher asks, "What's that Johnny" and says "A period" and she says "Why is that important" and Johnny says "Because my sister didn't have hers, so my mom is crying and my dad's trying to shoot the next door neighbor"
