If you want to major in theater or the arts or something like that... well I have no idea what college you should go to. I can't name any. But you should go to the drama teacher at your high school and talk to him/her about it. You should also talk to your guidance counselor about it. They're probably going to set you up with a counselor for all your college needs and everything.

Personally, I am going to major in Communications. I also had an interest in journalism. My counselor told me that MU in Columbia, Missouri is the best place to go for Journalism, hands down, and that it's also a great school for Communications. It's also good for me because I preferred to go to college not necessarily out of state, but definitely outside of St. Louis. Columbia is smack in the middle of Missouri. It's roughly a 3-hour drive from my house. So it's far enough from home that I can experience a very different atmosphere, but not to far away that traveling between there and home is a complete pain in the ass.

Location really is one of the main factors in deciding where to go to college.

Good luck, Lana!
