LMAO where do you hear this stuff? Why would the U.S. gov't give power to somebody other than their own paid-for exile cronies? Besides, the U.S. wants to topple the Iranian gov't right now. I would think they would put these ppl to better use in Iran. Right now, the U.S. is talking to the Iranian gov't because they have some higher up Al-quada operatives in jail. Also, a Shiite cleric ended his exile by crossing back into Iraq with his alleged 10,000 man miltia. However, the gov't does not want him in Iraq nor do they want Iranians in charge of anything.

Xenophobia at it's finest. You do realize that the same arguments could be made against Americans as well. You are right in saying that America needs a non-intervenist foreign policy.
