Nobody cares if you practice your religion and certainly nobody is stopping you. If you want to wear a sandwich board that says "Gay Marriage Sucks" and parade on Main Street, go for it. Just don't try to codify your religion into law. The law must take into account for everyone and not just you. Christian fanatics arent bible believers but rather those that long for America to follow Old Testament laws officially. If Muslims tried to make Sharia the law of America, i would be a burr in their britches too.

The point was obviously not whether the Holocaust was good or bad, the point was the God doesn't pick sides. You aren't God, so you can't say for sure what side he is on. You can only guess.

I do. I vote everytime there is an election. So i have earned my right to bitch. Sadly, voting is like masturbation. It feels good, but ultimately accomplishes nothing. The same wingnuts in my parish keep getting reelected because they have major campaign dollars. Doesn't help either that my representative has the intellectual prowess of a styrofoam peanut.

It's not personal, i don't hate you or anything. I'm not anti-Christian just anti-fanatic. I'm just so fucking pissed off about Bush that i want to reenact that scene from the movie Cold Turkey where the woman is standing on the roof screaming. I don't want my country to turn into a Christian Taliban step by step and that is where i see it going.
