I agree with what Geiri said about the church not having to marry but gays being able to be married outside of the church. Gays have commimentmet cerimonies now, but they are not recognized as married couplesand get no tax breaks which I think is unfair. Also, when gay couples have children, if the woman who had the child died the other woman would have no rights to the child because she is not considered a parent. That is not right IMO.
I think bush has every right to his opinion however, and if thats how he feels, oh well. Not alot of older people are as openminded as the youth of today. When we are old enough to be in public office that is when the US will see some changes, just because the youth of today have been raised so much more liberally. |
