Justified how? It is clear that Saddam was no threat to the United States. Even if he got WMD, Israel would have nipped that in the bud just like when they detonated Iraq's nuclear power plant under construction. And there was no 9/11 connection to Saddam at all. Why am i mad? Because the gov't shouldn't waste money we don't have and people's lives to fight an unneeded war. We have no right to tell any nation who or what their gov't should be. Hell we can't even tell them what weapons they can possess. Sovreignity and all. We can choose to deal or not deal with a nation. The whole you are either with us or Saddam is crap propaganda. Just because Saddam violates human rights is no cause to go to war with him. The United States Military is not a peacekeeping or freedom fighting force. They are a force to defend the nation. Sadly, administration after administration completely ignores this simple fact. Sorry if it isn't feel good and full of rainbows and puppies. The war on terrorism is like the war on drugs, a bunch of feel good nothing. Instead of stripping off civil rights, perhaps it would behoove them to revise our foreign policy. And where did you get that most Iraqis are happy we are there? From every article i have read, they want us the hell out of dodge. The only happy people are the exiles looking for a power grab.
