Smackdown Results July 3rd:
The show starts with a close up of Vince McMahon's face.
He addresses the audience telling them that tonight he will seal the fate of Mr. America, and also he's presenting a special two on one match Zach Gowen & Stephanie McMahon vs. The Big Show.
WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio vs. Nunzio 
The match starts, Nuzio hits a take down from behind, Rey quickly retaliates with an armbar, Nunzios hit Rey with a knee to the mid section, then snapping his neck, and gets a two count. Nunzio swings Rey into the corner and comes charging but gets hit with a boot to the jaw by Mysterio, and then a spinning leg scissors which knocks Nunzio to the outside. Rey then hits an amazing summersault from the inside of the ring to outside nailing his opponent perfectly. Both men are back in the ring, Rey goes to the top rop, Nunzio tries to stop him but is pushed off the top rope. Rey goes for a leg scissors from the top but is countered by a powerbomb from Nunzio, and Rey almost gets pinned but only by the count of two. Nunzio swings Rey into the ropes, Rey tries to use his feet but is slammed hard down to the mat in a reverse powerbomb but only gets a two count. Nunzio starts to stretch the champs arms back in submission, he then goes for a side suplex but Rey escapes rolling Nunzio up for a two count. Nunzio is quickly back on to the assault, hits the champ with a side slam, but only gets a two count. Nunzio goes to work with a backbreaker submission hold, Rey counters quickly with a swinging ddt. Both men are down.
Nunzio back up, misses with a clothesline, Rey picks up the pace begins to pick up the momentum, hits Nunzio with a standing moonsault and almost gets a three count. Nunzio hits his opponent with an elbow to the head, and gets a two count. Rey Suddenly hits his opponent with a leg scissors knocking his opponent outside the ring. The FBI then mugs Mysterio outside the ring with a double assault, and pushes him back into the ring. All of a sudden The APA's music hits as they clean house knocking the FBI out of commission.
This allows Mysterio to take advantage, he hits Nunzio with a 619, followed by a leg drop off the top rope and gets the duke.
After the match Billy Kidman congratulates Mysterio, he almost seems too excited.
Kurt Angle And Brock Lesnar backstage:
Both men are hanging out drinking milk together, a backstage assistent yells out "Hey Champ!" Both men begin to argue as to who she was really talking about. Kurt Angle says she was talking to the guy who's gonna beat Lesnar at Vengence for The WWE strap. Lesnar then grabs the milk and guzzles it down, he tells Kurt that he better keep drinking his milk. Kurt walks up to the backstage assistent and tells her that he's the champ as he takes a big gulp of milk, Lesnar then Slaps Kurt on the back... Kurt in advertantly spits Milk all over the female assistent, she's very irritated, Kurt hands her a small napkin to clean up.
Chris Benoit & Rhyno vs. The Basham Brothers. 
The bell rings, all men are in the ring going at it, the ref is losing control of things. Everything evens out with Doug Basham putting the boots to Rhyno, he gives him a standing kick to the head. Doug hits Rhyno with a bodyslam, tags Danny who goes to work in a similar fashion. Danny then hooks on a chin lick submission hold, but Rhyni counters with a suplex. Basham Brothers begin to double team their oppoent but it backfires, as Rhyno tags Benoit. Chris hits Doug with a russian suplex, and Chris then clampos the cross face submission of Danny, but Doug quickly breaks the hold. Benoit's back in control, he hits the legal man with a headbutt off the top rope, but only gets a two count.
Rhno's back in, gears up for a gore but is tripped by Doug. The brothers double team Benoit, but Rhyno finally connects with the gore on Doug. Benoit then hooks the cross face on Danny, and he taps out.
Backstage Stephanie And Vince:
Stephanie asks her father if he's serious about putting her in harms way during tonights match. She sad that Zack isn't experienced and she's just a woman and not a wrestler ready to face a Giant.
She emphasizes on how Brock Lesnar wasn't even able to beat the Big Show. She asks him to please reconsider. Vince wishes her good luck and tells her to be careful not to get hurt.
Stephanie and Sable backstage:
Sable tells Steph that she can't believe Vince is gonna go through with this two on one match, and how dangerous it is for Steph. But Sable tells her that she's sure that Vince would never let anything happen to his baby girl.
Steph asks her what she wants, Sable clearly states that she wants to wish her good luck. Steph Thanks her sarcasticly. And Sable reassures Steph that she would have no problem running SmackDown! by herself, because she can surely satisfy her father.
Footage from earlier, Nidia and Jamie Noble:
Nidia and Jamie Noble walk out of a limousine, they discuss how much they deserve their inheritance from last week. Noble shows Nidia some cool glasses he bought, Nidia shows her boyfriend a new expensive coat that she bought, and how she's gonna wear it all year long.
He tells her that she makes everything look beautiful, as they both kiss eachother. Noble then tips the driver and walks away, but has second thoughts and comes back to retrieve the money.
Backstage The Undertaker confronts Orlando Jordan:
Taker introduces himself.
They discuss what happened last week with John Cena attacking Jordan. Taker gives him some valuable advice on how he has to earn his keep here in the ring, but Jordan can't let people like Cena walk all over him, especially if he wants to earn everyone's respect. Cena then walks by and tells Jordan that The Taker is brain washing him into taking another beatdown.
He then starts to give The Taker some advice, he tells him to watch who's business he sticks his nose in and walks away. Taker then has the last word, emphasizes how everyone has to learn the hard way.
Billy Gunn w/ Torrie Wilson vs. John Cena in a first round United States title tournament match 
Before the match starts, John Cena sarts to berate Billy Gun with one of his trademark raps. He says that Billy would rather feel up Chuck, and Billy doesnt want to wrestle him but he would rather... he then points the mic to the fans, and with what ryhmes with Chuck, you get the picture.
Match starts, Billy misses with a clothesline, but connects with an elbow. He's all over Cena choking him down to the mat. Whips him into the corner followed by a clothesline, 1-2. Cena's up, a second clothesline, another two count. Cena moves to the outside, he takes advantage by smacking Gunn's head against the ringpost. Cena tosses Gunn back in the ring and is all over him like a rabid dog, he then hits his opponent with a snap suplex, beautiful! Cena proceeds with a chin lock. Gunn tries to break free but is soon slammed down to the mat, a quick pin, but Cena only gets a two count.
Cena hits Gunn with countless right hands, and then followed by a killer kick to the head. Cena gets a two count. Cena whips Gunn into the ropes and hits him with a sidewalk slam, he gains another near fall.
Cena proceeds with a chin lock, back to his feet toses Gunn into the ropes, but Cena is caught with a powerslam by Gunn. Both men are now down.
Cena misses with a clothesline, Gunn hits Cena with right hands and then a reverse neckbreaker, (modified diamond cutter.) Somehow Cena once again takes control with a vicious assault, but suddently The Undertaker's music plays, as he rolls down the aisle on his motorcyle, circling the ring. This distraction is just enough for Gunn to roll Cena up in a small package and he gets the three count.
Backstage Angle and Lesnar:
Both men are laughing and joking together.
Suddenly they start shoving eachother. Kurt tells Brock that everything has to be a competition with him, Brock says "it's because he's a very competitive guy." Kurt asks for a real mans competition, a pushups contest! Kurt tells Brock to go first in doing 300 hundred pushups, Brocks Agrees. Once on his knees, Lesnar jokingly says "So this is what it's like to be at your level," then he begins his pushups.
Brock Lesnar is only three pushups away from reaching the 300 hundred mark, as he's struggling, but he makes it through, he's exhausted on the floor. He says it's now Kurt's turn, but Kurt laughs and backs out telling Brock he won . Lesnar is laying on thr floor, he says he can't feel his arms.
WWE Tag Team Champions Eddie Guerrero & Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin. 
Haas and Tajiri start the match, they lock up, then exchange rights and lefts. Tajiri hits a swinging headlock on his opponent, Haas then counters with a wrist lock, Tajiri counters and tags Guerrero. Haas quickly takes control, with an elbow to the chest, he tags Benjamin who hits Guerrero with an arm drag. Benjamin uses some impressive athleticism as he uses the ropes to flip himself over, both men go back and fourth with unique counter holds. Guerrero drop kicks his opponent, Haas comes in a gets a powerslam by Guerrero. Then while still holding onto Benjamin's arm, Guerrero uses the top rope for leverage as he flips into the air and nails Haas with a leg scissors. Haas tagged back in, he executes a nice back breaker on his opponent. Haas hits him with a snap suplex, Guerrero is now cornered.
But not for long as he gives Haas a belly to belly suplex. Guerrero tags Tajiri who nails his opponent with a spinning heel kick, and followed by a reverse bulldog, Tajiri gains a two count. Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin then double team Tajiri, Shelton hits him with a finalk clotheline by only gets a near fall due to Guerrero's save. Shelton loks on a chin lock as the show goes to commercial break.
Back from the break, Shelton has an abdominal stretch on Tajiri, pounding on his chest. Shelton secretly switches with his fresh partner behnd the refs back and Haas is forced to break the hold. Shelton back in control goes to work on Tajiri some more, he then tags Haas. Haas whips his opponent into the corner, Tajiri tags Guerrero but the ref doesn't see. Haas tags Benjamin, more double team efforts, Benjamin gets a near fall. He goes for a powerbomb but Tajiri slips out and kicks his opponent in the head, he finally tags Guerrero who's in charge with drop kicks, back body drops, and suplexes galore. Guerrero counters a powerbomb attempt by Haas, he then hits a double suplex, and is 'feeling froggy.' But Shelton Benjamin (not the legal man) catches Guerrero on the top rope and delivers a superplex. Tajiri comes in to help with countless martial arts moves, both Haas and Guerrero are down. Haas goes for the pin, but only gets two. Guerrero counters a suplex attempt with a back breaker, another near fall.
Shelton Benjamin suplexes Guerrero out of the ring, as both men double team on Tajiri. But Takiri holds his own, he kicks Benjamin, holds Haas in the corner and knocks him to the mat. Guerrero goes for a frog splash but Haas moves out of the way, then Benjamin Kicks Tajiri right into Guerrero's waiting vehicle on the outside. Guerrero is distracted, Haas holds him in place, Shelton gives Guerrero a superkick to the chest, Haas covers Guerrero, the ref counts 123. New Champions!
Eddie isn't happy about losing the gold!!!
Backstage Zack Gowen And The Big Show:
Gowen stretches getting ready for his big match, Show steps on Zack's prosthetic leg. Show says that Gowen has one leg already gone, which means he only has one leg left, as he laughs and walks away.
Back from commerical break, the EMT's are helping Tajiri out who's in serious condition. Guerrero is very concerned, but not about Tajiri, he's concerned about his car, as he tosses Tajiri to the side. Suddenly he starts putting the boots to his fallen partner, he then hoists him up and slams tajiri into the windshield of his already damaged car.
As he walks off the fans boo him.
Orlando Jordan vs. A-Train
Both men lock up, A train tosses his oppoent to the ground. Jordan's up with a drop kick. Attempts a drop toe hold, but the big man wont go down. A-Train hit's his opponent with a shoulder block, following by a body slam, and a big splash but only gets a two count. A-Train then grabs Jordan's legs and catapaults him making contact with Jordan's neck against the second rope. Corners his opponent with right hands, hits Jordan with shots to the kidneys, followed by an avalanche in the corner. Jordan fights back, but A-Train hits Jordan with a massive elbow to the chest. A-Train whips his opponent in the buckle like a rag doll and then hooks Jordan up in a unique inverted full nelson submission hold.
Jordan miraculous breaks free and rolls A-Train up for the count but only gets two. A -Train's back on the assault, swings Jordan into the ropes but misses with his pattened bicyle kick. Jordan hits A-Train with a combination of fists and kicks and then a spinning kick to the head. Jordan hits his opponent with a flying forearm smash off the ropes and gets a quick two count.
More back and fourth action, A-Train hit's Jordan with a shot to the kidneys swings him into the ropes and hits the baldo buster perfectly. 1-2, but still no three count.
A-Train comes charging but runs into a boot from Jordan, another boot, and then A-Train runs into the second turnbuckle. Jordan goes up to the top for a flying body press but A-Train counters the move in the mid air. A-Train hits Jordan with the train wreck and gets the three count.
Backstage:
Stephanie is spotted with Big Show. Show asks her where her tag team partner is (her one legged protector?) Show says he hopes Steph doesn't get hurt out there as he smells her hair, because there are so many other ways hes like to hurt her. Steph runs away feeling disgusted, Vince then appears with Sable. Vince reminds Show that he's getting in the ring with his daughter. And he might want to listen to the annoucement he's about to make in the ring, which not only concerns Show but also Mr. America.
Vince makes his way down to the ring with Sable along side of him. Vince grabs the mic, and says that he'll seal the fate of Mr. America. He says that after Wrestle Mania he never wanted Hulk Hogan to ever wrestle again, denying the fans of that privilege. He said most of those people would take their paycheck at home, but instead Hogan chose to re-invent himself as Mr. America. He goes on to say that since he knew that Mr. America was gonna be on last weeks show, he made sure that the cameras were still rolling once they went off the air. Vince then shows everyone footage of last weeks SmackDown! when the show went off the air.
The video footage shows Mr. America standing in the ring lifting his mask half way off his face revealing his true self, which is obviously is none other than Hulk Hogan.
Vince then thanks his camera men for that footage, and he tells everyone that Hogan is now at home, and he tells him to read his lips, Mr. America and Hulk Hogan, You're both fired.
Then Vince goes on to talk about Zack Gowen. He says how he gave Zack a great opportunity last week to gain his contract by joining the kiss my ass club. But since Zack wants to do things the hard way, he'll face The Big Show in not only a handy cap match but also a no dq match, a no holds barred match. He then announces that at The next PPV vengence, Brock Lesnar will defend his title in a triple threat match against The Big Show and Kurt Angle. Then Vince walks to ringside with Sable for front row seats for the next match.
Zach Gowen & Stephanie McMahon vs. The Big Show
Zack starts off with The Show hitting him with forearms, but is quickly pushed down by The Show. Zack's up again, Show connects with large chops to Zacks chest, Show then shoves Steph down to the mat.
Both Show and Zack move to the outside where The Show begins to choke Zack, suddenly Stephanie jumps on Show's back trying to choke the life out of him.
But to no avail as she's swung down to the outside mat hard. Show then pulls off Zack's prosthetic leg as Zack crawls under the ring.
Suddenly Zack appears on the other side and drop kicks the Show as quick as a mouse with one leg. Zack then hits Show with a cross body block to the outside but is merely caught in mid air and tossed back into the ring. Show then gorilla presses Steph back into the ring.
Big Show now back in the ring, headbutts Zack Gowen, and then picks up Steph with one arm. Zack makes the save as Steph is unharmed. Vince then enters the ring directing traffic, he orders Show to choke slam Gowen and Big Show succeeds.
Then Vince starts to kick Gowen as he lays on the mat, suddenly Steph stands up to her father and slaps him across the face. Vince turns around and backs Steph into the waiting arms of the Big show. Show hoists Steph up for a choke slam, but before he can do any damage, Kurt Angle runs to the ring. Show catches Angle by the throat, but Angle counters with a kick to the groin, and then proceeds with an Ankle lock on Show. Vince then clobbers Angle with a steel chair to the back. Then Brock Lesnar makes his way to the ring, Vince swings with the chair but misses, Lesnar hoists Vince up for the F5 as the crowd goes wild!
Big Show makes the save with a kick to Lesnar's chest. Show picks up the steel chair, but Zack Gowen drop kicks it with one leg into Show's face (VanDamnator.) Show still on his feet is met with an Angle Slam by Kurt, and then Show is hoisted up for the F5 by Lesnar.
Zack then dropkicks Vince with one leg and knocks him to the ourside. Then in an amazing feat, still with only one leg Gowen hits a beautiful moonsault on the Big Show from the top rope. Zack Pins the Big Show winning his WWE SmackDown! contract.
After the match Zack is hugged by Angle, Lesnar and Stephanie in a very emotional moment as Gowen, standing on only one leg raises both arms in the air, finally living his dream as a WWE superstar.
It should be most interesting to see how this unfolds in the coming weeks!
