Fiona Apple is my absolute favorite singer/songwriter. She writes all her own stuff, plays the instruments. God she deserves so much more credit than what she gets. When The Pawn.. is one of my absolute fave cds ever.
Michelle Branch is pretty good too. I have mad respect for this girl. Her cd is one of my top ones.
Kurt Cobain has to go down as one of the best songwriters ever in my book. He had a mad genius.
Brandon Boyd(of Incubus). HE is so damn creative. Well The whole band is too. Their music has evolved so much. I love them.
