A little OT, but there was a college student from Irvine, CA who would talk to teenage girls online and arrange meetings with them. One girl he persuaded (15) met him at a mall. He forced her into the back of his car and raped, sodomized, and beat her.
The young girl survived and gave his SN to the police. To make a really long story short, her best friend was so enraged that she sat online until the guy came on and she began to talk to him. When he did come on and they talked for a few weeks, she arranged a meeting with him at the same mall, and the police accompanied her. When they arrested him at the mall, they found masking tape, rope, and a bat in his back seat--the same tools he had used to rape the previous girl. I saw this on Dateline early last year. Scary. He brutally raped a girl, left her for dead, and then got right back online.
