i just gotta say that i wasnt suprised by the USA at all! i went to see a game in august between kansas City Wizards v Colorado Rapids and i was well impressed with the standard! i knew they were gonna be weel organised, fit and well up for it! Portugal were very poor for a team of their class but dont underestimate the usa. McBride is a superb player and they have a few really good young and very quick lads too! it was a great game, 2 good goals by the usa and they deserved the win! i predicted they would come 2nd in this group months ago, only problem is...they will face Brazil in the last 16! well don tho usa! the ppl of america shud be well priud! but like Alan Hanson said...they will just get a lil paragraph in tomorras papers, shame really. |
