Smile Star Wars Ep 2 thread (for those who've seen it)

*makes first post in this forum as first one to see it on the big screen* *pokes out tongue*

Hehe, sorry couldn't resist. Ok, well let's make this thread for those who've seen it so they can discuss the movie, and if you haven't seen it and don't want it to be spoiled - leave the thread now! Let me put it this way, I'm about to say the whole plot....

************** SPOILER WARNING ***************

Anyway, loved it! Dammit, make the next one already! Geez, where do I begin... well I thought it was a big improvement over episode 1, it came much closer to reaching the "magic" of the originals, but maybe not quite there yet....

I really enjoyed watching Anakin being drawn to the dark side, all the little hints dropped I found very interesting, him watching his mother die then going on a killing spree etc - actually I didn't really like Anakin much but I guess that was supposed to be what his character was like - very arrogant person... if I had to pick out bad points of the movie though it was the very corny love scenes with Anakin and Armidala in the meadows etc, I felt like cracking up lauging at that...

Hmmm what else, loved the big surprise at the start with Armidala's bodyguard getting killed - really set the movie up and I was thinking - 'wow, this is gonna be great'... the futuristic car chase rocked too... reminded me of Blade Runner a bit... the nightclub scene was very cool too - one of my fav lines - 'where are you going?' 'Off to get a drink!' Ooooh and then the water world rocked where those clones where being made, and it was interesting to see Boba Fett and his father even though he wasn't really a major character in the later movies...

The final battle rocked, Natalie Portman was HOTTTT in that white catsuit thing ... and one last thing....

Yoda rocks!!!!!!
