i hear when the mask came out everyone laughed when they say cher on the credits. then cher won an oscar, and well deserved. singer or no singer, she was great in that movie and very believable in her role. and she's been in other movies too. and madonna got great reviews for a league of their own. i think singers are natural actors. why? stage performances and music videos.
I mean from the bottom of my broken heart, britney plays a sweet, innocent, naive girl begging for her lover back. then in oops and stronger, she's a strong, sexy vixen type. and then in dwad she's a ballerina, a circus girl, etc. Mariah's video for My All to me was like watching a fantasy movie and was gorgeous. Shakira's underneath your clothes is kinda like a mini movie to me and a very beautiful one at that. I think singers are natural performers in any way- modeling, acting, singing. i think part of why britney did so well in crossroads was she's used to being in front of cameras and acting in her videos and on stage so it just came natural. | *raises glass* ill toast to that.......   |
