Yeah I know what you're feeling. Finally somebody recognized what has been going on and he wasn't afraid to step up to the plate. He said exactly what he thought and with many things he was correct. Of course there also were things that he wasn't so delicate about, but he sure as hell was no Le Pen, like the media liked to label on him. They twisted his words and made him sound like a maniac, which in fact was totally off the scale. But people believed the media (like the dumbasses that they are always do) and what do ya get? Right.
I always stated that it's good that we can choose our own leaders, but the election is multiple-choice and the candidates are all alike. But Pim Fortuyn changed my statement when he arrived at the front lines. Finally some differences. What will happen to our democracy now? Pim stood for freedom of speech. They kill him. So did they kill freedom of speech now too? Will we ever dare to speak our mind again without the fear of being shot to death? Questions that keep arising. It's going to be a tough period the upcoming months.
You might know that I live in Rotterdam, one of the biggest cities with the most criminal activities of our country. I once was attacked by a group of I-dunno-what-kind-of-nationality in MY OWN STREET at 5 PM when I was out to get some food. I just walked there for crying out loud! I didn't do anything offensive in their direction. It sucks big time. I'm gonna move out soon. High up north where such is not as bad as it is in RotterDAMN.
I haven't watched the news all day yet, so I don't know if Pim's party is still going to continue. I hope they will, cause then we can still vote for them. Whether or not their spokesman is dead, they might still be able to continue his beliefs.
