The metal zip is around 2dollars, the interfacing is about 75cents per meter, the thread which has to be polyester is about 3dollars, muslin for the pockets about half a meter of that around 50cents,the buttons at about 5dollars for 5buttons, electricity for the sewing machine around 2dollars (that's how long an intermediate sewer would take) that equals 42dollars. It is an awful lot to spend on a beginner project!it is not worth it because you'll just be wasting your money because your jeans won't be as good as the ones at the shop. wouldn't you be more happier if you were really bad the first time and then be really good later, then you can say to yourself "wow, I did that, I am so proud of myself!" |
