 USA vs Russia mens hockey | |
the USA mens hockey team plays Russia tomorrow at 4 pm. if they win they will play for the Gold Medal against the winner of the Belarus vs Canada game. this is going to be a great game in the pool play they tied 2-2 and to make it more eerie 22 years to the day they played back in 1980 in the Miracle on Ice game in Lake Placid , New York they also played the Germans 22 years ago to the day when they beat them on wednesday night. they won the gold in 1980 adn 1960 when it was on american soil so this game will decide if they have a chance to get the hat trick. we havent lost a game on home ice since 1932 and their coach Herb "The Miracle Man" Brooks who coached the team in 1980 hasnt lost in olympic play.
