I thought it would be interesting to know what everyone's favorite concert is that they have attended OTHER THAN BRITNEY'S.
My choice goes to Green Day. I went to see them perform a little over a month ago. And they were so awesome. It was in this small theatre. The floor for the audience wasn't any bigger than a basketball court. So it was pretty small. And there were no seats other than in the balcony. So it was really crowded, perfect for a moshpit. Anyway, the band played for a little over an hour. Green Day is probably the very best at interacting with the crowd. It was really a great show. The best concert I've ever been to. They took requests. They challenged a guy to stage dive from the balcony. And at the end, they tore up their set. Plus I heard an absolute classic statement from the lead singer. "I'm drunk right now. But we were playing in Chicago last night and I wasn't drunk." *boos from the crowd* St. Louis and Chicago have a big sports rivalry. "But I gotta say that being drunk in St. Louis is a hell of a lot better than being sober in Chicago." *big cheer from the crowd* Rather than go on and on about it, I'll just post a review of the concert.
