No, I would not sell your family out to be considered better looking.
I can understand the thought. In California I'm sure I would be an ugly little troll, but in the midwest I'm considered good looking just because I weigh less than 200 lbs and don't wear sweats.
But I'm not living here for that reason. Might want to look at your priorities in life.
