She was 79. After my grandfather's passing, my mother taught my grandmother how to use the internet. She used it to read every newspaper in my country, and she also posted on a discussion forum. In the hospital where she spent her last days, we received a wish card from the forum's community. When you're standing there at the hospital bed with that card in your hands, it reminds you of how special it is to have people out there who truly care.

She did extremely well these past four years, and the way she handled her illness which began to surface last year, gave me new respect for her. She faught to the bitter end. No matter what happened, she stood her ground.

These last couple of weeks were tough for us all. I can't complain though, I've been holding out pretty well. It feels a little strange to be a live witness of just how much I can take these days.

I want to thank each one of you guys for the support. Now more than ever do I truly appreciate every word you've written. Thank you.
