Now let's not make harsh generalizations. There are many things printed about Britney that people say are fake and have been proven to be fake, or never confirmed as true. I remember reports she was pregnant when she got married, when she got engaged; rumors about a video called "Obey Me" in which she was to wear 5-inch stilettos; there's been reports of a new single called "Everybody" being released exclusively to iTunes; rumors of a second season of "Chaotic," which we're yet to see...
I'm not saying reports about Britney haven't been true (though they're usually minimal), but she does get it a lot worse than many people. And the "general public" doesn't always say what Britney does it made up. Hell, half of the general public don't even like Britney. It's the Britney fans you should claim suck.
